Religiosity or lack of it is the one thing that divides man. Lets first use the term religiosity instead of religion. Religiosity is 'strong attachment to religious faith' (merriam webster). Many people have this strong attribute to a certain religion, and are extremely narrow minded about other religions. Religiosity is a very strong part of a person's life, with most religions being different to one another in many ways.

Religiosity also plays a role in war, there are many wars fought based on different religions, with the aim of seeking dominance over other religions . This can be seen when ISIS beheads people who don't follow Islam, not considering them human and worthy of life. This idea of dominance has been carried out for centuries, with Christians killing Muslims and vice versa.

With this in mind, would it be fair to say that religiosity is the cause of war? Religiosity is part of life for many people, but it should be kept as a private matter. We should respect each other even if we don't agree with what they do or think.

Religiosity - Most we kill others who are not of the religion with us, in the name of fighting for our God. Some, who are also in a great number, also use religious power to oppress, disrespect and degrade others.

The reason behind this is: We are easily persuaded that all that is written in our holy book is righteous until we learn all by ourselves.

The holy book of most other religions present the same issue, because most religions have different version of their holy book.

Recently, Deborah Samuel a student of a college of Education was killed by muslim student, she is been accused of blasphemy by asking them to stop posting about Mohammed in an educational group chat.

This story has been in existing alot in the Northern part of the country, but the media and intellectuals of Nigeria fail to tell the world. The story of a religion, whose followers are more barbaric than any other religion.

That religion is Islam, which is the most barbaric religion, that is the reason why no man-made laws can stop these activities, because the law was created by men o obtain results, that do not suit it.
