Inferiority complex is the sense of being unworthy, ugly or incompetent. Inferiority complex is a sense of low self-esteem and it turns into a habit of feeling inferior to others without a valid reason.

When you have an inferiority complex, you feel like you鈥檙e inferior. You want to hide yourself because you feel unimportant and useless. It鈥檚 not a character disorder but a feeling many people have from time to time. You can get the feeling that the people around you are better than you.

Symptoms of inferiority complex include:

Inability to stand up to others.

路 Self-deprecation and lack of confidence.

路 Social anxiety.

路 A sense of insecurity.

路 Feeling that you are unable to measure up to the requirements.

路 Thinking you are less than others.路 Believing other people are better than you.路 Inferiority complex can be the result of real life experience, but it may also seem unjustified as a problem can be imagined.

For example, you may feel you are less intelligent and/or less attractive than others. During my college days, I was on my way to school when I met a young boy , He was very quiet and seemed so shy, The first thing that came to my mind was to ask him , "Boy why are you looking so down?"

He replied, "Sir I think I'm inferior!"

I was taken aback, With all the things he could have said, I never expected him to say this.

I tried to console him and told him , " No you're not, Have you ever heard of people who are left handed?

"I've read up about it and I know for a fact, That left handed people are not inferior."

"They're just not like you and me, But that does not mean they're inferior."

"What is inferiority complex?"

The boy thought for a while and laughed loudly , He said, "Sir was it not obvious? I am fragile!"

I smiled , It's true that he seemed frail.

To overcome inferiority complex, you should first accept your weakness as part of your personality and then overcome it by hard work and by constant improvement.

Regarding the inferiority complex, there are a few things you can do to improve your social skills. Social skills involve how you act with other people, whether they鈥檙e friends, family members or colleagues. Inferiority complex may be rooted in childhood. Your parents and relatives may have been over-critical about you or you were never appreciated for your efforts.

Sometimes even normal people can have social anxiety; it鈥檚 always better to try and improve your confidence rather than wallow in self pity as it will be far harder to get out of a hole if you keep digging yourself deeper.

In conclusions, One thing that can help are self-help strategies such as positively thinking about life and yourself. By attempting to see things from a more positive viewpoint, instead of focusing on one negative aspect of a situation or problem, you鈥檒l be able to think more rationally and manage problems better in the long run.

Normally, when people have that inferiority complex, they are people isolated from the social world. They are almost always people with few friends and even relatives. Greetings!

The worse thing about inferiority complex is that we keep pushing ourselves deeper and deeper into the ground, forcing ourselves to become smaller, even though it will take lesser effort to overcome it

We don鈥檛 have to condemn our self or depreciate our values because of others, God didn鈥檛 create use equal so we鈥檙e bound to pass each other鈥檚 and that shouldn鈥檛 course anyone to condemn him/her self.
