I have a plan. Before you spend any money on starting a new business, it is essential to have a cplan. Without a plan, your objectives are not specific, measurable or attainable and your goals are therefore unrealistic.

What should your finances be?

The S.M.A.R.T. system of setting goals will help you reach your financial goals. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-Bound. Here is an example:

I am going to create six figures online this year.

I am going to generate $100,000 in monthly gross sales.

The amount I make per month is measurable and attainable.

I will achieve this goal in the next 12 months (time-bound).

Now that You have decided on your S.M.A.R.T financial goals you need to break them down into smaller chunks that are easy to achieve and give you motivation daily to keep your eye on the prize and stay on track to achieve it by your deadline .

Now that you have a plan, you need the right tools to enable you to reach your goals in time! This can be done by simply having the right tools to market yourself and grow your business.

Goals. If you're going to do something, start by making it a goal. Don't just think about it. Write it down in a place where you can see it everyday. Making goals will help you keep yourself focused on what's important. It will also help you achieve that goal — and make you feel good about it when you finally reach it.

Focusing on Goals - Make a plan to accomplish your goals. Be realistic. Set aside some time each day to work toward your goal. Ask for help if you need it. And don't give up!

You Can - It's not always easy, but I know you can do what you set out to do. You have the power to create the things you want in life — and make a difference in the lives of other people too.

Start small and think big.

The first thing you need to do is put together a list of what you want to achieve in your business. And the best way to do that is to write it down. What I mean by that is, write it down on paper, or type it – whatever works best for you. But don't just think about it, go ahead and do it right now. If you think about it, and have no plan or goal in writing, then you're likely not serious about your business.

And if you're not serious about your business, then you won't succeed with it. So go ahead and put together a list at least 10 goals or objectives that you want to achieve in your business before the end of the month or end of the year – whatever time frame you want to set.

So here are a few ideas of things that you might want to consider having on your list:

Write down 10 people whom you know that would be interested in buying from your business. Now call them on the phone, set up an appointment, and make a presentation for them on your product/service offering.

This will only work for someone that is disciplined, I know of a lady that started her business with 5k and now her business worth is over 30k
