There are places of interest to look out for whenever you are visiting Nigeria. In every major city in Nigeria, you will find a lot of places that are unique to that particular area. Nigeria is a country with rich cultural heritage and ancient monuments. You will find various places of interest throughout the various states. The landmarks and monuments in different states are like a point of reference to them and they attract visitors from all over the country.
These monuments represent the various spheres of life that existed back then in that particular area. They give you an insight into the lives of those who used to live in the area long time ago. The historic sites in different states are a guide to their rich cultural heritage and are something worth trying out when visiting any state in Nigeria.
The country has many historical sites that date back to the pre-colonial era and these are worth visiting. Also, the variety of monuments that have been erected over the years are worth checking out. Of recent, there has been drastic improvement in the historical buildings and monuments and many have been fully restored to their former glory. Some of these sites include the national monuments which are located at Abuja and Lagos. Abuja is made up of the Aso Rock, the National Mosque and the State House.
Nigeria is a country of diversity. It is time to show the world what we have and to get an adequate acknowledgment of our rich culture. There are many places that are of interests to people in other countries, both for tourism and commerce. I hope to pay a small tribute to this diversity by presenting an overview of the places that we feel people might be interested in.

My first time in Lagos I was taken taken to the national Art Theatre and for the first few minute that I was in there I thought I was in abroad or somewhere outside of Nigeria 🇳🇬😅🙃. It was first time there and one of the best days of my life and pray and hope I can go back to Lagos someday and take someone there too
