Major Keys to winning

Winning is beyond dreaming or striving, one needs to put some things in action before one can win or succeed. There are refining processes you need to go through before you can, be celebrated as a winner. For example, Olympic Games comes up every leap year, that is, 4yrs intervals. The last one was held in Tokyo, Japan this year it meant for last year but covid 19 pandemic made the organisers postpone it till this year. The next one is coming up in 2024, for someone who wants to be a medallist, I think reading this publication will be helpful and everyone that intends to win in one way or the other.

I will be discussing some basic keys that might help and aid the quick attainment of success in whatever one does. I stand to be corrected that without the keys winning is inevitable. Winning doesn't come by chance. It takes vision, process and actions before one can achieve it.

Dreams

This is an inward view of success or imagination of what you want to be in life. It can also be defined as a very strong desire or wish or purpose to achieve something in the future. Everyone has a heartfelt desire for what they want to be or achieve in the future. No one can limit your dream except for you. Dreams can be wide and can even outgrow the dreamer if he works toward It.

Goal setting

It’s not just enough to have a dream, you need to set goals for yourself to achieve your dreams. If you don’t set a goal or standard for yourself you will keep dreaming and won’t achieve any of it. Once you have a dream,  the first step is to write it down, strategies on how to achieve it and work towards it. This means that when you set a goal, you are setting up the steps, time and efforts towards a dream.

Dedication

This means to be sold out to the course of winning. Or in another way round, giving all that could cost you or take to achieve success. Dedication has the following wings

·      self-sacrificing 

·      devotion and

·      loyalty

Determination

So many are dedicated to winning, but once they see a little challenge on their way they tend to give up. There is a saying “Winners never quit and quitters never win”. Every podium has its struggles and challenges. When determined you don’t consider others' ideas or listen to their praises. With determination, you will

·       Overcome Obstacles in your race to winning.

·       Have experience from the challenges you faced.

·       Confidence in winning will be in you.

Conclusion

Let me conclude with this short story of three brothers that are of the same father one of which was to be crowned the next king. They were put to test by the king bearer. What were they tested with?.

Everyone gathered at the village square and the three of them were to run using a spoon to carry an egg from one point to another.

The oldest starts and while running some people were hailing him, while some were abusing him. Not too long he heard someone call him a bastard. He turns around to see who the person was, his egg fell he was disqualified.

The second one also followed the same procedure, and on his way, he heard someone praising him, he was so happy that he couldn’t resist not looking at who the person was. He turns around to see who it was and his egg fell.

 The last contestants ignored what everyone was saying. He ignored the praises and the boos. With this, he was able to get to the finish line. This was how he won the race and was crown the king.
