For somebody like me that has been playing Splinterlands for several years, the card series are easy to understand. For somebody who is new to the game and has to struggle already to understand how things work, this might actually be quite tricky. Yesterday my guild finished a brawl and we became third. This gave us rewards in crowns and personal rewards in merits. At the beginning of the Splinterlands game all rewards were given out in the form of cards. I ended therefore with a lot of cards and I built up several accounts with them. I ended up with 4 well developed accounts and I took the habit of playing these accounts all at the same time. I assure you it's kind of crazy lol. That's what I call a great start with the new reward cards. I played with my main account too early and the reward cards were not out yet. Fortunately I didn't manage to finish the quest with one of my alt accounts :-) Look at this lovely gold foil card :-) #Splinterlands

Ok after a very bad end of season, I started the new one quite well. Today 7 victories in a row. It's a long time I haven't managed to do that lol #Splinterlands

Yesterday in Discord of Splinterlands, there was a short little message that I found would deserve more plublicity. From now on it's possible to use SPS to purchase credits in the game. This means that you can actually buy cards on the market with your SPS. This will now be possible to do without leaving the platform. I couldn't understand why would someone spend dozens of thousands of dollars (or more) to buy an "ordinary JPEG" minted on the blockchain as NFT... Why the heck that? Where is the value of that NFT. I have been playing Splinterlands for a long time and it's very interesting to see how the game evolved. At the beginning there was no DEC and all rewards were distributes as cards... When season rewards were due you could get up to 100 cards! #Splinterlands

About a week ago, I saw a noise.cash post from @niallon11, where he gave a tip to newbies how to increase the number of reward chest that they can get per day. One of the trickiest things in Splinterlands is to actually upgrade your deck. Every card that is in the game can be upgraded by combining several cards of the same type to create a more powerful card. At the moment everybody is speaking about Splinterlands but actually there is another game on the hive blockchain that is very interesting in terms of play2earn. I decided to go in big into the Rising Star game and I got a Millionaire card which will allow me to play once per day the Millionaire's Mission and get 10'000 starbits.... Unfortunately I believe I quite jumped the stages and didn't realize I had to be level 50 before being able to play the card lol

Thanks to the tips of Zoltan, I'm making quick steps in the Rising Star Game on Hive. Yesterday I was 600th in the ranking... today I went up to 301st. Way to go but the direction is correct lol

Less than 3 days to go and soo close to Champions... This time however I have to play it safe. Once I get in, I stop playing otherwise I might drop back and only get the Diamond chests lol. #Splinterlands

A friend of mine told me recently that he was making 320$ a month from the online game Rising Star. It's a blockchain based game around the theme of music. I had played the game already but I did a lot of things wrong the wrong way. I decided to give the game another try.
