I have been playing Splinterlands for a long time and it's very interesting to see how the game evolved. At the beginning there was no DEC and all rewards were distributes as cards... When season rewards were due you could get up to 100 cards! #Splinterlands

Those were some crazy times, I only started when DEC was already part of the system. All chests did contain cards. I am quite surprised that they went with an increase again from 33% to 50% of cards from reward chests. feels like it's a matter of time before they will decrease that again. It would be nice to have small amounts of SPS as a potential rewards from chests.

  Yes sps rewards would be interesting. I have the feeling that they tuned the overall rewards down a bit. The lower burn rates of the new cards translate in lower Dec rewards and there are no 2000 dec rewards anymore it seems.
