PATA TIM - oriental sty
Ingredients
1 whole pata (cut into 2 or 3 pcs)
Pechay baguio
Pechay tagalog
2 cups young corn (sliced into bite size)
200 g whole mushrooms
1 red bell pepper (sliced)
Onion leek
6 tbsp soy sauce
50 g chicharo
1 med carrots (thinly sliced)
1 med onion (chopped)
5 cloves garlic (chopped)
8 to 10 pcs star anise
10 g sibot (optional)
2 pcs bay leaves
1/2 tsp pepper (cracked)
3 cups water
Procedure :
1. In a pressure cooker, put the pata, soy sauce, garlic, onion, pepper, bay leaves, sibot, star anise, water.
2. Cook for 20 mins. (High pressure, medium heat)
3. Flip the pata and cook for another 20 minutes.
4. Take out the pata from the pressure cooker.
5. In medium heat, boil the other ingredients using the pata’s soup. Cook first the corn, mushrooms and carrots for 5 minutes then add the rest of the veggies. Cook for 5 another minutes.
6. Serve and enjoy. ❤️
