Breaking chains
I've realized the importance of breaking free from the chains that bind me to societal expectations and the opinions of others. "For once," I tell myself, "go on, be free." It's time to release the weight of others' judgments and the burden of seeking approval. I must forget those who don't show mercy, for their negativity only holds me back from reaching my full potential.
Change is inevitable, and I must embrace it wholeheartedly. I will change what I need to change and chase what needs to be chased. This path to freedom requires courage—the courage to pursue what excites me most and to live as someone who prioritizes growth and success above all else. I must be willing to swim against the current, to defy convention, and to forge my own path.
Life, they say, is achievable when you believe in your capabilities. But belief alone is not enough. Perseverance is necessary, and so is action. We must actively pursue our dreams, confronting our fears and challenging our limitations along the way. It's not enough to simply believe in ourselves; we must also be willing to work tirelessly to make our Goal achievable.
Let us acknowledge our defeats and stop the normalizing of selfishness in the guise of self-love. True self-love is not about prioritizing our own desires at the expense of others; it's about recognizing our worth and treating ourselves and others with kindness and compassion.
"If one day I got the chance to be free and look back on everything I left behind," I'll remind myself that simplicity is indeed a virtue. I'll shed the heavy baggage of unnecessary worries and regrets, walking forward towards my chosen path.
There were days when I felt like I needed to do something to be relevant. There were moments when I felt like I needed to forget about other people and focus on my own life. Countless times, I've felt jealous of how others seem to enjoy life without experiencing so much pain and pressure. Then I think about myself. What do I prioritize the most? What is my purpose in living?
In this overwhelming life, my existence may seem insignificant. I am but a mere speck of dust in the vast universe. But that alone doesn't define me. I don't need to impress others to validate my existence; I am inherently worthy of love and respect simply by being human. This is my life, and while it may sound harsh, I refuse to allow others to mold it into their own image simply because that's how they choose to live theirs. I determine my own path, where I should go, and how I choose to live it
