@a2j

This doesn't get boring and it definitely doesn't get cooler. Summer is still peaking here, but hopefully monsoon rains will reach us this month. Till then, let us all burn in the 40+°C sun.

@a2j

A distant village: The view looking out into the hills with a large cluster of homes in the village was serene. The hills have been made for terrace farming and this adds a mystique touch to the sloping hills. The houses in the village and colorful - makes the view even more charming!

@a2j

Stained mask. I ended the day at work yesterday with this interesting stain on my mask. It can't be lipstick - I definitely don't wear lipstick and rarely kiss my wife at work. I didn't get any injury that caused a bleed. Well, thankfukly it was a nice stain. We had cake at work today and it was strawberry flavoured with fresh cream. I guess I'm a messy eater and it stuck to my lip and then got onto the mask. The interesting thing was that, during the the entire day, I felt…

@a2j

A pine cone in hand is worth.... Last week, when we visited a little pine forest, the ground had fallen pine cones and leaves that made the place enchanting. My little daughter loved collecting a few, including some which were still attached to fallen branches. They will make interesting displays at home in the dining table!

@a2j

Adbtc is easily giving me 100 satoshis a day at least for their PTC clicks. The best part is that you can click and then no focus on the window while the timer counts down. Their CAPTCHAs are easy and don't come on after every click, which makes the site easy to use. Payment is at 1000 Satoshi and is after a few hours of requesting. The links are a minimum of 2.1 Satoshi but most are close to 10 Satoshi and you even get a few over 20 Satoshi. Thisnis pretty decent for a…

@a2j

The sun glows on, while we still wait for any signs of rain clouds this month. We need at least one spell of good rains to soak the parched city. I wonder if it will ever happen!!

@a2j

I've posted this vague CAPTCHA feature on a website before. This time it was paw prints. Click on the paw print. But there are two!! Click either and you're ok.

@a2j

I'm glad I captured lots of photos of the flowers and the landscapes during our May vacation. It brings back very pleasant memories and is refreshing to browse through at the end of a busy day. This is apparently a pelargonium flower as per Google lens. I love this shade of pink - very soothing to the eye and mind

@a2j

Does the sun know it's her first day at school? My little daughter is going to her LKG class - her first ever day at school. She'll be on a bus and in a new classroom. I guess the sun will watch over her.

@a2j

Pizza at work. Just another day when one of my colleagues who is celebrating his birthday have us a treat. This time it was a slice of pizza each. Aren't I lucky to be at such a lovely workplace??

@a2j

It's not been a good week for our pet fish. We lost one betta fish, a guppy and a zebra fish. We are just starting off looking after fish - for about 6 months - and this is our first loss. So we went off to the fish shop to buy a new betta fish for my little daughter. Hope this one last us many months like the last one. Her excitement in the little pet fish shop was a joy to watch.

@a2j

Why does the sun appeared skewed? It must be my phone camera distorting the corners of some images. The sun, in reality, appeared to be perfectly spherical thi morning. The prediction of rain for this week was wrong and we haven't had a drop of rain. It says there's a possibility or rain next week, but I'm not gonna believe that.

@a2j

Would you trust a medical company that cannot spell "temperature" in a Facebook ad? #wth There are at least 2 major spelling errors in this add "Tempertaure" "Variablity" I hope their product does not work with typos in the monitor readings!! #whattheheck

@a2j

Have you seen this captcha before? It was my first time. It's like paintings of common items and you choose one (coins in this example). It's pretty straightforward and easy. I couldn't find the name of the captcha or the company that is behind this one. Any ideas?

@a2j

Incoming clouds alert! Woke up afternoon nap and we woke up to the sight of dark clouds coming in. I was sure this was going to be another fraud, but after 15 minutes there was a strong wind and a dust storm started. There was scattered drops of rain for a few minutes and then the downpour started. As expected, within 10 more minutes the show had stopped, but the respite from the heat is phenomenal!!

@a2j

Can you guess what this is? I have used a dial phone, but this one is even older than that. It was on display at a waiting area in the restaurant we had lunch at! There was a charm in literally dialing a number by turning the number dial!

@a2j

Broken capo! I'd bought a capo from the music store I visited last month - and today it broke. I need another one urgently as I need to use my guitar at church this Sunday. I've ordered a new one and hope I get it on time. Meanwhile, I've sent a message to the store requesting a refund. Let's see what they say. They're friendly folks.

@a2j

We attended our first live music concert after ages on Friday. It was a charity concert to raise funds for cancer treatment and all the musicians were friends of mine. It was held poolside and there were many stalls, sales and games to aid in the fund raising. Brilliant music from the 80s and 90s!

@a2j

After the sudden, short spell of rain yesterday, the sun doesn't give two hoots about a cool day. It's back up to its shining best. I've mentioned that the phone camera adjusts the exposure to make the sun brightness lesser than it actually is. In reality, the morning sun is so bright, that I can't look in its direction! The second picture captures this blinding brightness better. A touch cooler in the morning, but the day will be hot.

@a2j

A true friend knows how to choose the right gift! A friend of mine who has moved to Australia sent this for me (along with some gifts for my wife and kids). She obviously knew my craving for coffee!! So excited!!

@a2j

Another blast from the past. This type of switches are what we had at home when I was a child. Somehow, they have been phased out and I never see them in homes. The restaurant we went to yesterday had some items that were on display from decades ago and this was on the wall. It was working too! Felt lovely flicking those switches on!!

@a2j

We had a good spell of rain for half an hour last night and it's certainly cooled things down. There's some clouds left over in the sky and the sun has to burst through them today to brighten the day. Hope we have a cooler day today and a little more rain.

@a2j

A panaroma shot at 7 am showing the sun climbing up the sky all alone to heat up the city. The respite from the rain a couple of nights ago is almost gone. We're crossing 40 degrees celsius today again, but the early morning today is a touch cooler than usual.

@a2j

I've seen this scooter parked in this spot for quite a few weeks now. It's pretty run down! There's lot of rust on the metal body and the seat is ripped in multiple places. I don't know if the owner has just dumped it in this parking lot or if he/she is planning to repair and use it. Do you think this is salvageable?

@a2j

A wide angle shot of the sunrise at 7.15 am today. The sun shows its light bending properties with a lovely arc. There's no trace of rain or cool weather. So we'll be bracing for a hot day! Looking forward to the weekend to see if there will be a change.

@a2j

Interesting sight this morning: The sunlight was streaming in through the window and on to the fish tank bowl. It seems to converge to a smaller and brighter circle on the table cloth. The fish swimming in the bowl cast it's shadow on this little circle of light - looked very interesting, but very difficult to capture on a phone cam. Anyway, here is what I was trying to explain!!

@a2j

@a2j

Was there a glitch on noise a few hours ago with tipping? I got this error when I tipped a post. But I could tip other users and this user's other posts when I tried. Was this a temporary glitch on my side or from noise? Did any of you experience this? #noise

@a2j

I went out to the balcony at 6 am and this is the sight that greeted me. The sun was a little speck near the hill and the clouds had formed an abstract blanket above. Its a confused morning with warmth all around and a touch of coolness when the breeze blows. The day will be hot.

@a2j

Season 5 of RollerCoin is open. It's quite similar to previous seasons, but the rewards at each level are the same. The marketplace is not yet open. I got a little lucky on day one and got a couple of good airdrops. I got the free miner (very basic and very little mining power, but it's free) and a legendary fan that I can sell later in the marketplace. Are you playing RollerCoin this season?

@a2j

Query for you: All airplanes are not seaplanes, but are all seaplanes airplanes? Will the answer to this query help CAPTCHA decide if you're a bot or a human being? hCaptcha thinks so! On their images captcha, they have one that asks users to mark seaplanes. The grid displayed also has other airplanes, but they are quite easy to differentiate. No dramas. They also have a CAPTCHA that asks users to mark airplanes from the images on the grid. They have a couple of seaplanes…

@a2j

Plugged in - not charging! How many of you have done this accidentally when plugging in your mobile to recharge the battery? You click the cable into the slot and then check an hour later, only to find that your phone hasn't been charged...... because you forgot to turn the wall switch on! I've done it and am guilty of this many times!!

@a2j

Today, it's another hot morning and all memory of the rain has disappeared. The clouds appear vague and the sun appears bored. Summer chugs along as we gear up for another hot weekend.

@a2j

I saw this wooden board game in a quaint cafe we visited a long time ago. I still haven't figured out what this game is and how to play it. But the wooden finish and the wooden table in the background made it look good!!

@a2j

A really hot afternoon today - and we had to endure the heat as we attended a house warming ceremony with lunch. The sky was blue with little fluffy clouds floating around.

@a2j

And that's why I find crypto unnerving. I would hate it if my salary dropped by 75% in a year or if things became 4x expensive in a year. We are used to a little more predictability in the costs and income. With crypto, when the surges happens, everyone is pumped. But when the value drops 75% - this is for bitcoincash - it's unnerving. Invest in crypto wisely and, only those amounts you are willing to let go. Hold on and see how much you can recover. Don't panic.

@a2j

We had a sudden, unexpected spell of rains last night! It coincided with the visit to the railway station at 11.30 pm when I had to pick up my in-laws. The morning had a lovely touch of cool breeze, even though the general heat still prevailed. The clouds were more 'confident', but I'm sure the afternoon will make them all disappear. Have a great week.

@a2j

There was an unkempt plot of land which was partly cleared to build a house. This pretty little flower was hiding shyly behind the fence. Nature finds ways to throw pretty things everywhere!!

@a2j

Waiting at a railway crossing for 20 minutes on a hot afternoon and watching 3 trains rumble past with long pauses inbetween builds patience and endurance. That was Sunday afternoon for me. But, I must accept that there is something romantic and joyous about watching the trains go past. It's soothing!

@a2j

The little rains we had a couple of nights ago has made the morning heat more bearable. It feels a little muggy, but the scorching heat is not evident at 7 am. It gets to 40 degrees Celsius later in the day - but a couple of hours in the 30s in the morning is still a little relieving!

@a2j

Dragonfruit are not easy to get where I live. This is the first time I've managed to get dragonfruit that has pink flesh. The taste was the same as the ones with white flesh, but this seemed to have more water content. I put it in a pink bowl and it looked shocking pink!!

@a2j

We had another great spell of rain after midnight. That's two nights in a row! The morning is cooler and the cloud cover has subdued the sun a little. I wonder how long this respite will last. We're still predicted to hit 40 degrees celsius today!

@a2j

Was noise down for a while a few hours ago? I kept getting this error a few times before I slept. Everything seems to be working now. #noise #error

@a2j

When the CAPTCHA throws a mathematical equation at you, it is usually easy - addition or subtraction, small numbers, single digits. You can easily solve this quickly in your mind and solve the captcha. This native CAPTCHA from the Indian Railways site throws more difficult calculations that sometimes.are tougher to solve mentally. This was a simpler one relatively!!

@a2j

A lovely, frothy cuppa coffee to start the day. The sunlight through the window has created an interesting shadow witin the cup. I'm now waiting for the coffee to kick me awake!

@a2j

We had another spell of rain overnight. There's lots of puddles around, but the sun is doing its best to make them all disappear. You can see the sunlight reflecting off rain water on the roof top of a building under construction here. I hope the respite from the heat continues.

@a2j

Amazon has some funny listings or descriptions on their website. Some are meant to be funny and others are accidentally funny. I wonder which category this one belongs to: A play mat that is suitable for people aged 1 month to 90 years. #whattheheck My poor 91 year old grandma feels left out!! #wth

@a2j

There was no rains yesterday, but some of the cool weather spilled over to the early morning. But the sun was back in the almost-cloudless sky telling us the party is over and the heat will be on today.

@a2j

The long and tiring day last night resulted in a little chaos in the morning. We had a dinner with friends till 9.30 and I had to head back to work at 10 pm. I went to sleep last midnight and woke up this morning to realise I'd forgotten to put the clothes from the washing machine out to dry (I usually wash a set at 6 pm). I'd also forgotten to put the dishwasher on and all our lunch boxes were still dirty. Emptied the washing machine and ran a quick cycle on the dishwasher…

@a2j

The name of this little restaurant is "Hungry Birds" - a twisted version of the popular "Angry birds". Considering that they have chicken on the menu i wonder if the birds are hungry or just..... the eaten!!

@a2j

For those of you using coinpayu, the catch a cat game is live online. The code is 'staking'. Claim 80 Satoshi or, if you're lucky, get 800 Satoshi. All the best!

@a2j

Thankfully the morning heat sets in later than usual and my five minutes on the balcony is a touch cooler than last week. The sun is still high up, but the cluster of clouds makes it more bearable. There has been no rain overnight - wonder what the weekend will hold!!

@a2j

I haven't been using my bike very often. After a break of 3 weeks I tried starting it 10 days ago and it didn't start up. It was a blocked carburettor or something and the mechanic fixed it. I haven't used it for a week, and this morning I found out that a wasp had built a little nest near the ignition key hole. I tried to break it and the wasp came back protect it. Now I'm stuck. I wonder what I can do to make.my bike usable again!

@a2j

Mothers have the most unique talents when making cakes for their children's birthday. We went for a quiet kids birthday party of a friends family and her mom made this flower pull-away cup cake. So - no need to cut the cake into pieces. Just pull the cups and you get the cake! Beautiful icing design and delicious too!!

@a2j

The intermittent rains are continuing and we had rains late last evening too. The clouds are getting thicker and this morning, the sun was difficult to spot. It is definitely cooler and the day itself lacked the searing heat from last week. We had a great time at church and the long drive back and forth did not tire us at all!

@a2j

All this happened in 15 minutes. I am a disaster in the making!! 1. I was emptying the used coffee grounds from my aeropress coffeemaker into the bin and they slipped sideways away from the bin. So I had to clean them up from the floor. 2. As I put fresh coffee beans into the coffee grinder, i knocked them over onto the kitchen floor. Had to literally pick them from the ground and discard them. 3. After all this, I added too much water into the aeropress and am not having…

@a2j

The sunrise today had the sun trying to break through the fluffy cloud cover. It ended up looking beautiful with the sunbeams coming out through the gaps in the clouds and the rays reaching down to the earth below!

@a2j

One of the best parts of Sunday, is the trip to church which is beyond the outskirts of the city. The open spaces are awesome, and the splash of rains had changed them from dry brown to a lush green. The hill in the background is like the icing on the cake of nature!!

@a2j

I woke up earlier than usual and the view out of the bedroom window was awesome. Strolled out to the balcony and tried to capture the colors of dawn. It looked even prettier than what the phone could capture. Unedited. #nofilter #sunrise

@a2j

Lots of cloud and a morning that is cool. It's such a relief not to wake up sweating. After the colorful hues of the early morning, the sun was still hiding behind the clouds after 7 am. Let's see what the day holds - maybe a few more spells of rain

@a2j

We got some white flowers - there's a long story about how we ended up buying these chrysanthemums, but I'll save that story for another day. The flowers have brightened up the room - and a close shot revealed something hidden between the petals too. Can you spot it?

@a2j

It's been raining for over an hour and the lightning behind the clouds is silhouetting the hill beautifully. Very difficult to capture with my mobile, but it's awesome.

@a2j

There was plenty of rain overnight and the clouds successfully covered the sunrise. It's refreshing to wake up, although the day turns warmer later on. I'm enjoying this break from the hot weather, but I'm sure we'll hit 40 degrees Celsius again in a few days after this rain spell stops.

@a2j

This is weird and freaky Every crypto earning site is showing a 500 internal server error. I have tried it in 2 different internet connections and 2 different devices. FaucetCrypto, faucetpay, jungletv, coinpayu, RollerCoin and a few more. The rest of the non crypto sites and sites like noise seem to be working. Is there a general outage or is it a country specific problem. Anyone else from India - can you comment?

@a2j

Some of you may have noticed that a lot of crypto earning sites and related sites were down and giving a 500 internal server error today for an hour or so (maybe even shorter). It looks like this was because cloudflare services were down and most of these sites apparently use cloudflare to protect and secure their sites. You can see the status updates here - https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/ Things looks normal now. Did any of you notice this?

@a2j

The Amazon team needs to hire people with better mathematics skills. Look at this calculation. 1 litre of fabric softener costs 265 rupees. Hence the cost rate per liter is........ 265000 rupees per liter #wth #whattheheck

@a2j

A bit of both worlds? The forecast is that there will be no more rains and the sun will be out. The morning view shows both - clearing skies to the left where the sunlight and patches of blue can be seen, and the dull grey skies covering the entire right side. Today may be a battle of the elements, but my gut feeling is that the summer sun will win this week. It's still cooler than usual, but the days are quite warm.

@a2j

Banano lovers of noise - wake up and smell the kalium. Jungletv.live has been continuously playing for 30+days now and the banano is flowing in steadily. The queue today has more than 300 entries, mainly songs. So get in, enjoy the music and the chatroom and get a little bananao while you're at it!

@a2j

I wonder why these coffee kiosks serve such small cups of coffee. They're barely 150 ml, but I guess it makes for a good break after lunch before going on to the afternoon session at work!

@a2j

The next phase of summer - will it start this week? The morning is still cloudy, but the temperature is not as cool as yesterday - just a touch warmer. These aren't rain clouds. Warmer weather is coming back.

@a2j

We went down to the open playing park and my daughter played on all the slides and swings. I was the allotted caretaker for her mask and decided to put it on her scooter. Life is so much fun!! Or whatever.....

@a2j

Yup. It's definitely getting hotter. The clouds look prettier today, but the sun is shining through them and warming up the city faster than last week. It will reach to over 35 degrees celsius today apparently. I wonder how hot it will get over the weekend. I do not want it to sear at 40 degrees!!

@a2j

I've missed seeing the flowers on the wayside at the campus we stay. They're there, but I just pass them by!! Anyway, I took some time to look at a few again and these periwinkles were the first to catch my eye! No dramas, just simple beauty!!

@a2j

The sun is back at its blazing best. The clouds have scattered and the heat is on! It says we won't hit 40 degrees celsius this weekend, but i I doubt it. It already feels sooooo warm at 7 in the morning!!

@a2j

White chrysanthemum, handheld, in a dark balcony with a soft light. My phone struggled to focus, but managed to captured some of the elements of beauty in the shades of white.

@a2j

After a hot day, the clouds are moving in. My gut feeling is that they will fly past and not give us a drop of rain. My city is famous for clouds that never give rain till they cross the city limits. Are these cheat clouds??!!

@a2j

After the farcical rain yesterday (5 minutes of strong winds and 5 minutes of raindrops), it's back to being a hot morning. I'm working today, but can get to work later than usual. The sun is blazing away in all its glory, and summer is reminding me that it's far from over!

@a2j

What impressed me about this flower was the sheer size. It was bigger than my hand! I love the bright colors and shades too, but the size was what caught my attention immediately. Quite a handful of beauty, eh?!

@a2j

The sun seems a bit blurry and abstract as the entire sky has been made a canvas of abstract art by amorphous clouds. June is gonna end on a hot note, contrary to the crypto graphs!!

@a2j

A different view this morning. Unfortunately, my mom has been unwell and admitted in hospital and this was the view out of the window. No hills, no sunrise to watch - just a stack of buildings and some sky. It's cool in the room, but the day will get hot!!

@a2j

Being stuck inside a hospital room when mom is unwell is not fun, especially if we are waiting for test results and treatment plans. But this verse hanging on the wall of our hospital room is very reassuring. Isaiah 43:2

@a2j

Spent the night at home before coming back to the hospital to be with my mom. So I got to see the sunrise from the balcony again. It's a morning with blue skies and floating cloud patches. The days are hot, but thankfully the hospital room is very pleasant - we don't even use the airconditioner in the room.

@a2j

On solvemedia, the shorter the phrase, the happier the human. So this looooong one was painful for me to type out, but also got my curiosity perked up. Apparently the phrase is from the Big Bang Theory and refers to Penny's room which was a mess. It's a typical Sheldon punchline!! Now I'm trying to find the episode so that I can watch it.

@a2j

While waiting for a scan for my mom, I noticed this little play area for kids. It's the frame of a CT scanner that has some slides attached to help kids play and while away time whilst waiting for a scan. Interesting, eh?!

@a2j

The evening view from the hospital room showed dark clouds rolling in slowly. And fortunately, we had good rainfall for about half an hour. It felt very refreshing. The night now is a bit humid, but cooler.

@a2j

After the brief rains last night, the early morning was reasonably cool. But the sun is back at its best and it promises to be a warm day. The clouds have disappeared - will they be back in the evening?

@a2j

With bitcoincash dropping to below 100 and struggling to rise above it today, are we going to see another steep drop as it doesn't seem to have much support at 100? From its high of over 600$, this is more than a 80% drop. Wonder what lies ahead next. Of particular concern is the BCH/BTC ratio which is at its lowest now.
