The Road Ahead: Exciting Updates on My Personal and Professional Growth
Hey Peeps!
It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update on my personal life, so I thought I’d take a moment to catch you up on what’s been going on.
As some of you may know, I’ve been working in the field of accounting for a while now. I’ve been looking for ways to take my career to the next level, so I decided to apply to a graduate program to earn a Certificate of Graduate Study (COGS) in Accounting.
The program will not only help me get a better job but also fulfill the 150-credit requirement to sit for the CPA exam and become a Public Accountant.
I just received news that my application was ACCEPTED, and I’ll be starting classes in the fall later this year.
I’m thrilled to begin this journey and am committed to giving it my all!
However, I anticipate that this will cut into my blogging/writing time.
For the last few months, I have tried to keep up with the daily grind, but I am finding that it is starting to drain me instead of being the fun hobby I enjoyed.
To prevent burnout and stay motivated, I plan to slow down and post 3–5 times a week instead of daily. I hope you understand and continue to support me on this journey.
On a personal note, I recently ran in a 5k charity race to challenge myself and to support a great cause.
It had been years since I ran, so I wanted to see what I could actually do when push came to shove.
I finished with a time of 32 minutes and 22 seconds, which put me in 1,653rd place out of 4,267 runners.
I was extremely satisfied with my performance, and have continued to run every day since the race!
Back to blogging/writing — I actually have a special announcement coming up regarding my community of readers/followers, that also will affect the Zero to Hero giveaway.
All I can say, for now, is there will soon be more ways to engage and earn within the ZeroRequiem community!
Thanks for reading, and I’ll keep you posted on my progress both in my career and personal life!
Has anything been going on in your life that you would like to share?
See ya!
:)
It's good to see you participating in a charity run. Which charity was it for if you don't mind me asking? Also good to see it has led you to running ever since.
I'd like to know more on this. I'm not saying tell me what your going to do but rather what it's all about. :)
