Ablyan Peak, Boljoon.

So I enjoyed writing about the article I published yesterday and made me think of writing another one. About the places I've visited in the past.

This is not far from my hometown but we have to travel on the way there.

The day before that, all my cousins in the province planned on going there through motorcycle. Everyone is very excited including the old ones who's not included in the upcoming adventure lol. But they're the one's making poso for us to eat on the way there or when we arrive there. I have a lot of cousins so it is very exciting. Although not all our cousins are going, it'll still be fun.

It was July 8 2020, a year ago. We decided to wake up early in the morning, cook our poso and bought a lechon manok and pansit. We are a total of 14 person and occupied 6 motorcycle. Our destination is 28km away from our house so we have a long way to go.

Ablayan Peak is located in Boljoon, Malabuyoc. It is a picnic ground perfect for bonding and overnight. It has wide mountain view and a very fresh air.

It was a very long ride and we barely stop over. We just stop over to take a picture on our way there as we saw interesting lanscape along the road. As we're halfway thru, We can already feel the soothing winds of the mountain. It's not easy to go there but It's definitely worth it. There are some roads that are too narrow and too slippery but we were able to manage it.

As we arrive, it's already 9 AM. We were greeted by the panoramic view of every natural formation present in Boljoon. There are even rustic benches and swings overlooking the other verdant mountains – perhaps the most relaxing place to rest with such a pleasing view. The peak has a massive open space where travelers can just take in their surroundings and breathe in the unpolluted air. The summit of Ablayan truly is a wonder to behold with its breathtaking panoramic views of nature. The excitement of reaching the destination does give people the needed push but the thrill of not knowing what to expect on the way is what brings wanderlusts out of their homes to discover the world.

We did not waste our time and took an instagramable photo of us and we also ate what the elders had prepared for us. We laughed and bond with each other like it's the most important thing in the world. We definitely enjoyed coming there. We also planned on where to go next if we have the time. It is indeed worth of our time and effort. We felt relaxed and refresh especially because of the view and the fresh air.

After our adventure in Boljoon, we decided to go to the seaside and take a dip. It was very exhausting but we did not feel tired at all because we are enjoying every moment we had together.

Closing thoughts

A very rare moment of us going out as planned because usually, our plans always suck and it's always postponed. But for the first time, we actually made it. And it made me very happy seing my cousins happy. We had a lot of adventures so stay tuned. I will be sharing them soon.
