The life of a person who takes drugs from time to time is ruined. He backs away from his goal. His life is limited to drugs. He begins to separate from his family. He has become so addicted to drugs that his life becomes miserable. Such a person sells all his accumulated capital to fulfill his addiction. Drug addiction is such a debilitating disease that if you never get it, you start to suffer.
