Poverty is the complete lack of means necessary to meet basic personal needs such as food, clothing and shelter. Poverty is a state or condition in which a person or community lacks the financial resources and essentials for a minimum standard of living. Poverty means tha the income level from the employment is so low that basic human needs can't be met.

Poverty increses health risks. As adults, lower income individuals experience higher rate of illness, disease and disabilities than those who have higher incomes. Consequently the life expectancies for poor individuals are lower than those with higher incomes.

Effects of poverty

The effects of poverty can fallow a child into adulthood, leading to chronic illness and lack of education or the ability to work. The effects of poverty are more than just missing a meal.

Where is poverty most common ?

Sub-Saharan Africa

Has both the highest rate of children living in extreme poverty at 49 percent and largest share of world extremely poor children at 51 percent. By 2030 an estimated 80 percent of the world's extreme poor children will live in Fragile contexts.

Most of the people in different countries are poor. They can not eat meal three times a day. They can not wear good clothes. They even can not live in good environment. They can not buy medicine. They can not educate their children. Due to poverty childrens have to do work for money to fulfill their desire. In this way they can not enjoy their life, they spent the whole life in poverty.

We should take care of these poor people. We should help them so that they can eat meal. Some people are poor, they can not cook meal in their homes, but they doesn't tell anyone about this. We should keep an eye on these peoples in our surroundings.

We should help every needy person.
