Sleep is a vital, often neglected, component of every persons overall health and well-being. Sleep is important because it enables the body to repair and be fit and ready for another day. Getting adequate rest may also help prevent excess weight gain,heart disease and increased illness duration.

Sleep plays a important role in your physical health .For example sleep is involved in healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of heart disease ,kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and stroke.

Sleep improves your immune functions. If you often get colds,ensuring that you get atleast 8 hours of sleep per night could be very helpful.

People are most likely to be at their sleepiest at two points :between 1 p.m. and 3 p. m. and between 2 a. m. and 4 a. m. The better the quality of sleep you get the less likely you are to experience significant daytime sleepiness.

Not getting enough sleep on regular basis won't just make you tired -it Will cause likely your weight to rise.

Make a habit to sleep 7-8 hours daily to fress your mind and to recharge it.
