Starting from a thought
Many of us think that physical health is much more important than mental health. This perception arises perhaps because humans sometimes only focus on what is seen. Though in my opinion a healthy mind and mental is the main thing. Everything in this world starts from the mind and heart. True, for that we do have to think positively. But try to go beyond those positive thoughts so as not only to apply positive thinking but also the ability to have high self-awareness.
In fact, nothing is eternal in this universe. That is the first awareness that must be instilled in oneself. To apply this thinking we have to live in the present, today, this hour, this second. Consciously.
If there is a question, What really triggers stress?...My answer is thinking about tomorrow and the past. We humans are often shackled with the question, How to face tomorrow, huh? ...with the statement "Ah, I regret doing that yesterday," and so on. It is these kinds of expressions that prevent us from appreciating life in the present we are facing. The first step to bring up more positive thoughts and mentality is to be grateful for every second that we are going through, fully realizing what we have got now, not yesterday or tomorrow.
In this world we can never control anyone other than ourselves. We can control our emotions and reactions if we wish. We are the only ones who decide how to behave when faced with something. Therefore, to be able to control the mind, heart, and actions we must learn to break away from worldly things periodically. Meditation or prayer can be good habits to slowly maximize these self-control abilities. You don't have to spend the same amount of time every day. If you only have five minutes, then use it. The important thing is not to break so that it becomes a habit and a necessity.
It is important to break away from the worldly elements so that we can return to ourselves, focus on ourselves in order to raise full awareness of the responsibilities that we carry. most individuals sometimes forget how vital this is because it focuses on how to make the body healthier, more beautiful.
Even though no matter how beautiful our body is but the mind is not, life will not be happy. There are only thoughts of how I look, not how I feel. It is more significant if we think about whether the efforts we make to stay healthy can be useful for others as simply as whether it can make us able to interact well with those closest to us.
Whatever we do must be based on the understanding that we deserve it. It's not just about achieving a goal like losing weight. In fact, such achievements will never end. A better goal is to ensure that what happens to us today is going according to our plan at the beginning of the day or not. To ensure that today we have been honest, doing all activities consciously.
Happiness really does come from within. Not from outside. We have to accept ourselves, accept the experience whatever happens. If we wait for validation from external factors, the wait for self-acceptance will not be achieved. Therefore we must realize how only we are responsible for how influential a problem is. If we have a high awareness and can balance the side of rationalism later we can more easily control emotions.
Be careful not to get too emotional when dealing with other people. For example when I meet someone who is in emotional turmoil I try to give myself a dialogue: "I don't know what he's going through, maybe he's in trouble," "I don't need to react the same way or follow suit. in a wave of emotion." So, even though the environment around us is unstable, we can focus on ourselves. Not affected by the negative side from the outside.
