Morning Rain

Monday morning, with the pouring rain

I don't wait but

I don't rebuke either

Because at every point there is a blessing that accompanies

I'm sure of that

Like a line of my rain prayer

" Allaahumma shoyyiban naafi’an "

This morning the rain greeted my earth

Soft caressing in the silence of the morning It brings back a handful of memories that I had stolen to keep

Memories of us and the rain

With the wind blowing the cold I give you happy greetings
