Careless
Missing a task, spilling coffee, losing a cellphone or other negligence, makes us lose ourselves. From small losses to large scales! OK, we've all made mistakes. The problem is, not everyone wants to take it as a lesson and is determined to be more careful next time. Some of us just let this habit continue to proliferate prolifically.
A careless person doesn't want to remember what to do. At first it wasn't intentional, but because he didn't want to learn from his mistakes, eventually it happened again.
Because of this bad habit, our friends call us 'the careless'. Worse, because we are used to it, we do not respond to it. We even try to hide behind the label. When we forget to bring presentation materials, we blame other people. The reason is, "Ough, you guys, you know I'm careless, why were you told to bring important materials!" Instead of trying to use our friends' criticism as motivation for us to improve ourselves, it's even easier to take cover behind it. One, two times, we might still survive. But if it happens repeatedly, after a long time our friends won't believe it anymore.
In accordance with the notion of carelessness, usually reckless people are in a hurry, anxious, and panicked. As a result, his actions went awry. Wanting to get things done quickly, one puts aside perfection and neatness, becoming careless.
In addition to wanting to finish quickly, we can also be careless because we underestimate something. No need to go far, for example, work as a secretary, typing letters has become a routine. Because you are used to using old letter templates, when you create a new letter, you will take it for granted. It turned out that many errors in the letter were due to forgetting to change the date, or the letter number. Things that seem trivial, but the consequences are quite bad.
When we finally realize, here, if we are careless people, of course we have suffered a lot of losses due to this habit. Starting from losing your cellphone to losing time because you misread the meeting schedule. Want to change, but don't know where to start? In my opinion, we must find out first, what causes us to be careless. For example, when we are stressed, we forget easily or panic, it means we have to be more prepared in everything. Let's say we want to go out of town, it means we pack, well, well in advance. Don't leave tomorrow, just packing tonight. At least, we have time to remember what items we forgot to take with us.
We can also overcome our carelessness by seeing everything as a challenge, so that we too will really work on it. If necessary, post 'little warnings' in places that we often see. For example, we often forget to button the zipper, stick a small note on the dressing table with the sincere "Don't forget to button the zipper!" Believe me, we can slowly get rid of this habit.
Don't give up easily and keep trying to change. It's called a bad habit, it's not easy to change it. But patience, tuh, always gives sweet fruit, believe me!!
