Being a parent is not easy. Its not a kind of play that if you want to end, you can end. You need to be prepared for the responsibilities of parenthood. Its not easy to raise a child and keep them well. Theres a lot of areas that you need to consider. It not all about the financial, it also include the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the family.

These are the few responsibilities of parents to thier children.

1. Provide thier basic needs such as shelter, food, water , clothes

2. ‎Teach you child good values such as respect, generosity, honesty and kindness

3. ‎Engaged yourself with their educational matters like asking thier lessons, attending meetings at school and helping them on projects and assignment

4. ‎Discipline them in appropriate way and not abusive way

5. ‎Quality time with your child. Spend time with your child, asking them about certain things about thier life, giving an advice and also telling a story or experience that makes your bonding more deep

It is important to know the responsibilities of being a parent but it is also important to know the thing that we shouldn't do while parenting

1. Spoiled your child by buying them an expensive stuff.

2. ‎Tolerating your child always.

3. ‎Fixing thier unfinished business or let them do what they want.

As a parent of an 20 months old baby boy, I am so excited for his growing up years.

  • I want to provide everything that he needs as long as I can.

  • I want to support him in everything that he will going to do as long as it is good.

  • I am excited taking him to school and attend PTA meetings

  • I am excited to help him do his projects and assignment at home.

  • I am also excited to teach him some life hacks 😊 that also taught of his grandpa when I was little

  • I want to encourage him to be more confident and pursue what he wants in life without fear and insecurities.

  • I want to be part of his growing years and be just always beside him all the time until he court someone and get married and have a family 😅

Well, I am just imagining things 😅 I actually here in my room and I couldn't move my neck because it is stiff 😑 Its already 2:00 PM here and I am not eating my lunch 😑

‎Engaged yourself with their educational matters like asking thier lessons, attending meetings at school and helping them on projects and assignment

This might be a small act but it means so much to a child. Indeed, it's the parent's responsibility to teach and also help their child with activities like these. So sad to think that some parents are too focused on providing material things for their children and unable to do this simple things.

‎Discipline them in appropriate way and not abusive way.

I grew up in a family where discipline always means beating up. I've experienced being disciplined in front of other kids or other people too and that is so embarrassing. I can't blame my parents though because that is what they think is the best way to discipline their child. But it serves a lesson too not to imitate them when I become a parent in the future.

Anyways, awesome points and you have beautiful family. The baby looks so cute too 😍

Yeah. It think we have the same childhood 😄 and I dont want that my son experience those. When I was a kid I cant remember when my mom asked me how's my school haha. Basta 😄😄 I just dont want to raise my child like my mother raise me . She's a good mother but she failed on some areas pero okay na yon. I under stand naman kung bakit hehe.

Parang same nga po. We can't live our life blaming them of how they brought us up though. There is no perfect parent naman kasi. But my psychology classes made me understand her somehow. Wag na lang gayahin kung yung areas of failure nila kasi somehow di naman tayo magiging ganito kung di dahil sa ganun nilang pagpapalaki.

I hope your dreams come true but a nice all your son will grow up with self esteem and creativity and he wants to have you around but also you can find the time to support him, help with homework. To be honest I find that the hardest thing to do. As a parent you have to stay updated if it comes to school and even know everything about the education you did not follow yourself because your child chooses a different direction/education.

I love that last photo.

As the moderator: the word "thier" does not exist! It has to be "their". You write it wrong through your whole text. "thier children" = their children, et cetera. Please, edit. The community cares about grammar.

Being a father is not easy, but with love and patience it can be achieved, we must be aware of their upbringing that they lack nothing, we are responsible for their lives.

Being a father is not easy? I think you mean being a mother. Mothers give birth and are worldwide still the one's who do most of the raising.
