You no longer have time to cry
All the old tears that you have put away in the shelves of your silence
You no longer have the same eyes to look at yourself with pity while you see yourself making mistakes
You no longer have that little mercy, that you kept on rainy days but the sun was ou
You no longer have the time to scold good-naturedly the little girl you wer
The one who took refuge in a world of her own, when the world of adults was too scary for her
You don't keep the hopes they took away from you and you don't even want them
You have learned at your own expense
that the ill-gotten gains are taken away
And the tears always burn in the same way
Especially if in defense you keep covering them with a 'it's okay it's just another day of ordinary lack'

It is so true that we keep tears on the shelves of our silence ... it's so nostalgic but it is very real. It is beautiful and reaches the heart.
