The government policies regarding science and technology is good enough only if it is applied properly. With the financial support from the Government, I think that its policies will have its optimum use for the betterment of the country. But sadly, the lack of support for the increasing problems relating science and technologies wasn’t addressed properly. Other agencies are abusing their positions just to have and obtain more money instead of imparting knowledge about science and technologies.
If I were to change one of the government policy discussed, I would change nothing. The policies are good enough. All we need is a support for both moral and financial for it to be implemented properly. For me the government should pay more attention to the health sector in terms of science and technology. With the current education private and public schools were offering, our countries are producing talented doctors and nurses that would help resolve the pandemic we are facing right now but due to the lack of support from the government, the issues with regards of the increasing cases of positive COVID-19 patients in the country is still uncontrollable. Medical professionals needs and deserve a support.
Comparing private schools with outstanding science education program such as University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City, Siliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, University of San Agustin in Iloilo City, Centro Escolar University in Manila ad many more which offers BS in Biology, BS in Environmental Science, BS in General Science, BS in Applied Science, BS in Chemistry, BS in Marine Biology, BS in physics, BS in Health Sciences, BS in Human Biology and BS in Cosmetic Science than the public service schools in the Philippines, it is visible that the private schools is more focus on giving quality education by providing tools and equipment that is necessary for the welfare of the students. There are also focus on honing the capacity and capabilities of each students by exposing them to current issues related to the course they were taking up. Public schools on the other hands also gives quality education but lacks the tools, equipment and also facilities to perform actual and laboratory activities that would help the students hone their skills in their chosen career.
Nice,😉
