Online Class #2

Good day everyone just saw this headlines on newspaper today but the newspaper was actually published last July 16, 2020 and it gains my curiosity and decided to check the whole article.

It says here that there’s been a **decreased in the enrollees for the school year 2020 to 2021.** And we all know the reason behind it, pandemic. The pandemic changes our daily routine in life and I hope that everyone knows the impact of it to the society. There were a lot of factors that should be considered for the re-opening of classes during pandemic, do you think the higher ups considers this? Come to think of those who does not enroll this year, do you think they really want and like it? The pandemic really gives us to choose tricky options that have both positive and negative outcome which I think the reason behind why those who did not enroll choose their safety and life than education. It’s really unfair for those who can’t afford to buy technologies that they can use during virtual classes. But we can’t blame those who can. I hope DEPED will reconsider this one, and let us all be true to ourselves that the quality of the education will be lesser if it is done online. Below are some factors that I think every student experiences when they were working from home. **Distraction**

Yes, **technology is a distraction.** Come to think of it, you have everything you needed, laptop, phone, tablet and a stable internet connection, everyone will get distracted as some source of entertainment arises online. Some might go to different sites to entertain themselves as online classes may lead them to boredom. **Time management**

Yes, **time management may also be a factor** for a student not to want to attend classes. Since we are all staying at home it is unlikely impossible for you to skip helping in doing household chores. Some parents are strict about this and will let you do it even if you’re attending a class. And some teachers will give you lots of activities as they think you are capable of doing them since you own your time. **Depression**

Yes you read it right, **depression must also be considered**. Have you ever thought of a child that’s experiencing abused in their own houses? How will they cope up daily? How will they work efficiently if their working place is a mess? **Pressure**

**Pressure is one factor**. Every parents works hard for their child to cope up with the innovating world. As they provide all the needs of the child, pressure will arise especially if they keep on talking about how hard they work just to provide that and how high they were expecting from you. This is just plain opinion about the incoming online classes. I just hope that this decision of DEPED won’t lead to serious problem as we are now facing the big one.
