It all started as you knocked on my heart

Just like a door that's unable to open yet full of crack

It was hiding because of fear and pain

From someone who I thought would never bring me too much rain

You stop for a minute, maybe you're thinking

Choosing between staying or leaving

But hey, you surprised me this time

As you choose to stay and bring light to my dark cloud

You help me find the missing key

The key that would let me set myself free

Then you succeeded, you entered my heart

You fixed what he broke and bring me back to light

We became happy, we laugh so much

We cried on movies, silent and sometimes loud

We dance on the empty streets, not even afraid of the dark

We were so happy, but is happy enough?

You showed me the real you

The real YOU I wasn't ready to meet

The YOU who should be hated and feared

Yet here I come still loving you unconditionally

I thought it was just a part of you that I didn't see

Never have I ever thought it was the whole you who brings chaos and tragedy

Having myself is far from reality
