Most people love jellies. Be it in form of candies or other desserts. Me and my family love jellies too.
Last night while having dinner, my boyfriend's mom mentioned the coffee jelly. She said she wanted some. I am craving for coffee jellt that time too. So, I volunteered to be the one to make some. I know how to make one anyways.
Here we go. She bought the ingredients needed except for the gelatin. Coz I have in stock. I bought a pack of gelatin last week.
I was so happy and excited because I can finally satisfy my coffee jelly cravings and make my boyfriend's mom happy too.
I started doing the procedure. I'm all set. We just need to wait for the jelly to form. We made it this morning and just a few minutes ago, when we took it out, the jelly did not form. Not totally. I mean only half of it formed and the other half was still liquid as if it's a juice.
I started thinking what's wrong. And then later on I thought of searching about the brand of gelatin I have used. I always use the same brand of gatin everytime I make my coffe jelly. This is the first time I used a different brand coz it's the only available when I went to the grocery to buy some.
As I was searching, that brand of gelatin is not really good. It is only good as add ons in baking. It really not good to be used for jelly desserts because it don't form nicely.
I wss so disappointed. I have chosen the black colored gelatin. So it now looked gross. I feel so ashamed. Especially to my boyfriend and his family.
It's delicious but the look of it is not that good to look at so for next time, should I still buy from that brand? Na-uh!
Instead of having a Jell-oh! ( for awesome) It just gave me a Jell-uh-oh! ( for uh-oh... )....
Appearance will not matter inside the tummy 🤣🤣 so yeah as long as it taste good
