Man in our House
We all know that women are very moody, unpredictable, hard to understand especially during their red days. If you know what I mean. In my case, it's the other way around. It's not me but my husband who is very moody.
My husband is 3 years older than me. I am aware that maturity has no exact measurement, I can say that he's still not matured enough. I often have a hard time understanding him. My patience is always under the test. Here are some scenarios that made him mad at me.
WHEN I PUT LESS/TOO MUCH SUGAR IN HIS MILK. He gets really pissed off when I do this. This isn't intentional though. There were just times that it happens because I am in a hurry doing other things. Like, I needed to finish cooking, washing the dishes, doing the laundry, before going to my part time job.
WHEN I FORGET TO SWITCH OFF THE FAN BEFORE RUNNING TO THE BATHROOM TO PEE. I'm just away for less than five minutes. I'll be using the fan again anyways when I came back from the bathroom. I know it's my fault but is it really a big deal to be mad at me? He won't talk to me for hours sometimes days because I forgot to switch off the fan. How was that?
WHEN I FORGET TO GREET HIM ON MY SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS ON OUR MONTHSARY. I'm really confused with this part though. He wants me to greet him online but when I tag him, he'll just hide it in his profile. How was that? And he'll act all pissed off saying I am denying him to the public.
WHEN OUR TV'S HDMI CONNECTION STOPPED WORKING. He blamed me for what happened to our tv. So we are using an extension for the fan and laptop that was connected to the socket where the tv is plugged.
As we were watching a movie, he closed the lights so it's dark. And i accidentally stepped on the extension cord and the fan was plugged. After that, the tv screen went black.
He was really mad at me that time. He was about to hit me for that if not for his brother who stopped him. And I am 8th month pregnant.
He never talked to me for weeks and was cold to me until he had the technician checked our tv for repair. It turns out that it was his laptop who was having issues and not the tv itself. That's when he seem to be back to normal with me.
WHEN I GRABBED THE CAR'S HANDLE TO GET OFF. I didn't know that he also pressed the unlock button in his end in the driver's control. He cursed and was mad at me for doing it. According to him, it will cause some damage to the car. I didn't mean to do it. If I knew he's gonna press the control then I wouldn't pull the unlock handle on my end.
It all seem to be little things but his anger is as if I have done a crime. It made me feel like I'm the worst person he's ever met.
Oh, and before I forget. He also have this funny attitude where he would ask me non-stop about my past and would not talk to me for weeks becasue of jealousy later on.
I don't know why he's like that. I don't know what to do with him. I guess this is one of the things I need to endure since I chose him to be the father of my child.
A Woman?
"Behind every man's success is a woman"
That was a famous saying of all times. A saying that I strongly believe, which I strongly agree with.
Ever since the pandemic started more and more women are put under pressure. Judged, criticized, undersestimated, abused.
Most women were treated as slaves. Not to the extreme but in some sort.
There were women who were judged without kowing her side of the story. Many women were victims of false judgement.
We, humans are too judgmental. I guess that's really part of being sinful beings. No offense meant. Wether you accept it or not, we are all sinners.
That woman you saw carrying a baby. In just a glance, you made your own conclusion right away. In the back of your mind you were screaming like,
" Huh! Batang ina. Inuna kasi landi. "
Without knowing the truth. Little did you know that the baby she was carrying was her younger bro/sis. Or maybe, that baby was the fruit of the abuse she got from simeone with a demonic mind.
Since we're talking about this issue, let me share with you my own experience somehow similar to this one.
I was just 10 years old when my youngest sister was born. We are in extreme poverty that time. My dad lost his job. My mom, just a few days after gaving birth, left my youngest sister at home so she could go sell anything she can from fruits, to frozen goods, to "balut", to biscuits and many more just to earn money for our food at home.
Being the eldest, I was the one my mom has chosen to take care of my younger sister.
Our neighbors thought my sister wss actually my child. That's because they always see me with her wherever I go. I bring her with me when I go to school, when I go to the market to buy our food, when I buy stuffs from our neighboring stores, when I stay in front of our gate for fresh air.
Women are really something. They are strong and matures quickly. Well, I'm not saying boys are not but we all know that women adapts more quickly to hardships and can do things that men can do too. Maybe this is the reason why the saying "Behind every man's success is a woman" came to be.

Macaroni Soup
It's been raining for a week now. The cold is all over the place. We all do different methods to lessen the cold in our household.
In this weather, we usually have tea, hot chocolate and such.
As for me, I made some macaroni soup for my family. It's out of scrap. Made with ingredients I just found available at home.
These are the steps I did. I'm not that yood in cooking. I don't know exactly how. I just trust what I believe is right each time I cook.
INGREDIENTS:
Macaroni
Onion
Garlic
CDO sliced ham
Cabbage
Angel evaporated milk
Pepper
Knorr chicken cubes
PROCEDURE:
Chop the onion and garlic into tiny bits.
Cut the ham into strips.
Heat the pan and put the oil. When the oil is hot, put the garlic and onion
Mix them well until the garlic turns into golden brown in color.
Add the milk and the macaroni. Add a little water too to avoid it from getting thick. Let it boil.
Add the chicken cube, the ham and the cabbage.
Mix it lightly and add some pepper.
Check when the macaroni is cooked.
Serve. Make sure to consume the food right away. The macaroni absorbs the water when it gets cold.
That is how I made it. I made it in a rush. I woke up late and it's raining outside so I decided to make some macaroni soup.
I'm so glad my husband love it and his family also gave me a lot of compliments for this one. We did not have any leftovers. They finish it all and even asked for more. The energy I lost when I ws making this food was fully recharged upon seeing their satisfaction that shows off through their happy faces.
