Commuter's Fault

Majority of the population in our country uses public vehicle for transportation. Lucky are those people who can afford to own one and enjoy their time while driving even though there is a bad weather or too sunny in the outside. Pretty much in a chill state. Perks of having many money.

As to those considered "commoners" they have less options of comforts in life. Being classified as an average earner, won't give you the impression of a luxury life than those of the elites. Since we can't provide ourselves the comfort we need and want, that is our fault. That is the commuter's fault.

Now that classes is back to a normal operation pre-covid day or face to face interaction as they say. Our main transportation (public utility jeep or public bus even taxi and much worse is the motor bike) can't handle the number of passenger inside their vehicle. So to those who can't make it to the ride has to wait again for another bus to take them to their destination. There are also a lot of passengers nowadays that will risk to push their selves inside the vehicle just so they won't get late in work and or class even though they have to stand throughout the travel time. What's more sad in this situation is that, they have to keep on standing for how many kilometers and lost precious time due to traffic.

Imagine the struggle for day to day routine of a commuter. They have to wake up very early. Get ready for work and have to wait for 30 minutes to ride comfortably. Aside from this, is the waiting time due to traffic. Sometimes, it would take us an hour or more to finally arrive in our wanted location. And as workers, since our energy has been slowly draining by the traffic when we arrived at our individuals job place we will never be 100% effective or efficient. Traffic is very stressful. And sometimes, since traffic is present we are late at work meaning there is a deduction in our salary and a bad image in our evaluation.

But how do we beat traffic? Our Human Resource Department won't settle for a reasoning of we are late due to traffic that is already a mainstream. So, they suggest that we have to wake up and get ready to work earlier than what we used to so we can beat up traffic. Well, technically that is somehow true. We can beat traffic by getting ready earlier than the rush hour. But what about those parents, who has children to prepared to school ? Will they also let their kids wake up super early ? Will the kids won't feel sleepy in school time then? I really believe in a domino effect in whatever action we do. So I guess, as a commuter and a poor individual we have to work harder.

What's even more harder is when it is raining. You will get drenched in the rain while waiting for a ride-moment. Or simply when you are walking. The most unfortunate for us, the commuters is when a private car drives very fast and the waters are splashing towards us. We will get dirty. Our uniform will ruin. Our confidence is getting down. Very inconsiderate to those private cars owner.

They must at least give sympathy to those us a commoner or a commuter. Respect one another. It won't be that hard to give respect. That is free. If only, our government also make something about this. Starting last Monday, the traffic is killing everybody. They should do or make immediate action.

I suggest that they should ban those private cars running in the main highway. So that all people will just use the public utility vehicle in the city weather poor or rich. All commuters are equal. Again, this is only my opinion no hard feelings.

I remember my life as a student in our university, most of my classmates had their own motorcycle some of them had their own car, and Im just commuting for 5 years, they can easily go to different places with ease, they had a very comfortable life while I struggle myself finding a way to commute to the place where I'm heading :( not so good but I accepted the fact that I need to set aside my feelings and continue my studies to graduate.

I understand your point. I have been a victim of getting drenched with dirty water by private and even public car drivers. It is very humiliating. May God provide us an easier means of transportation.
