This mountain is administratively located in Indonesia and covers four districts in East Java, including the Regencies of Malang, Pasuruan, Lumajang and Probolinggo. Mount Bromo itself has a height of about 2329 meters above sea level and is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park and has become a famous tourist spot in East Java. This national park has an area of about 800 square kilometers, covering the area of Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru.
This mountain is known for its very beautiful sunrise view. To be able to witness this phenomenon, tourists must climb to the top of the climb which is the best location to see the sunrise.
If you stay there, you can climb Mount Bromo from around 2 am and reach the top at 5 am. After that you can rest first while waiting for the sun to rise. Your tiredness will not be in vain and will be paid off by the view of the sunrise there.

You can also take the jeep to climb the crater of Mount Bromo, but the vehicle can only reach the parking lot of the crater of the mountain and then you can walk to get to the top. It is also highly recommended to wear a mask because the road to the crater will be full of dust and sand, moreover the smell of sulfur from the crater of the mountain is very strong.
During the trip to the crater, there are several places that you can see, such as the Great Poten Temple, which is used to carry out Yadya Kasada celebrations or Kasodo ceremonies to the sand dunes.
After passing through, the crater of the mountain will get closer and once in the crater you will enjoy a very stunning view and see the tengger mountains and shell mountains that form steep lines.
2. Whispering sand
In the eastern part of Mount Bromo, you will see a vast and beautiful stretch of black sand. This place is called whispering sand because when you put your ear to the sand, you will feel like someone is whispering. You can also capture the moment while in Bromo by taking pictures in this whispering sand area.
3. Climbing hill 1 and 2
The next spot is climbing hills 1 and 2 and you can see the sunrise from here. Seeing the sunrise from this hill and then the most beautiful impression in your life.
The right time if you want to visit the hills of Penanjakan 1 and 2 is at 2 in the morning, the reason for visiting from the early hours is so that you are ready to welcome the sunrise view.
4. Teletubbies Hill
This hill is named Teletubbies Hill because its shape and the grass there are very similar to the hill in the Teletubbies movie. This hill is perfect for those of you who like to take pictures with hilly backgrounds.
