Zechariah 4 verse 6 “not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts”

If you are trying to do things with your power and might, you will collide with forces that are stronger than you because you are trying to break a law that has been in existence since ages.

John 15 verse 4-5 “Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

You shouldn’t rely on your ability because God knows what you don’t know and he sees what you can’t see. You don’t know the future but he do. Whatever that will happen to you in the next 5 years God already know. Why don’t you trust him and let his will be done.

Proverb 3 verse 5 – 7: trust in the lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the lord, and turn away from evil.

Trusting the lord will save from troubles and you won’t fall into the traps of the evil one because he says in Isaiah 52 verse 12 that for you shall not out in haste, and you shall not go in flight, for the lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

When you partner with God you will have access to his wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 2 verse 6-7: for the lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity.

Partnership with God is the secret of King David’s success; he never fought any battle until he inquires of the Lord.

Human beings are naturally limited; it’s for a purpose, God did this for us to realize the need for him in our daily life.

We try to do it all by ourselves because we don’t know how powerful God is.

Job 38 verse 4-11: “where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sand together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? “or who shut in the sea with doors, when it burst forth from the womb; when I made clouds its garment, and thick darkness uts swaddling band, and prescribed bounds for it, and set bars and doors, and said, ‘thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stayed’?.

Trust in him; he's able to do what he says he will do. Trust and obey.
