We can be a champion in our own
We always want to win in any contest and in life, we never want to be defeated, but unfortunately, it's unavoidable. But, we are all champions in our own little way, we do have victories, and defeats. There are a lot of competitors in life, like fear, doubts, procrastination, and ourselves. There tons of reasons that will hinder our victory. In short, it's not easy to win against those enemies that we had each day, we like it or not, it exist.
How does it feels like being a winner? first, it's overwhelming, happiness, and full of joy. Champions are not only those who raised their hands with trophies and flags but also those who are smiling deep inside and having a peaceful heart, those who have a genuine joy and calm spirit.
Champions also experience defeat and numbers of losing moments, before they make it to the top. Ms. Universe Philippines Ms. Pia Wurtzbach was defeated three times in joining Ms. Universe pageant before she got the crown, and a lot more known personalities that are famous today, who have lose the fight, because achieving the first spot. We may not be like them, but as we all know we are in a competition each day, in battling our struggles and troubles in life.
Everyday, I always want to win against my emotions like anger, because I'm easily get mad. I'm too emotional and I cried immediately whenever I felt upset. It's not easy to win when our greatest opponent is ourself, I think that's the hardest part. How can we be victorious in our daily life?
The Goal
In every player there is an ultimate goal to reach, it gives motivation to strive harder, and a reminder to focus the finishing line of the race.
My Aim - Setting my heart free
This is what I'm aiming for in my daily life, I don't want my heart to be in troubled all the time. It makes me feel like the earth is falling down on me, if my heart is in constant fight.
Just this day, I am into a battling my emotions, I am competing with myself, and honestly I am defeated in the sense that I am emotionally down,I cried with the pain that I felt inside me. But, in the end after my crying time, I decided to set free my heart from all my emotions and start over again.
The defeat moments of our life is already a part of winning, even if there are bruises along the way, what matters to me is that I keep my heart free before the day ends. In each day that I am alive, this is what I long for, to set my heart free from unwanted emotions.
Surround yourself with sympathetic ear
It's hard to fight the battle alone, never let yourself be surrounded by people who will judge your weaknesses. Basketball players practice with the same team, volleyball players run with the same group. How did a volleyball players exercise his/her skills when they don't play with the same game? They need to be with people with the same skills and abilities to grow as one, together.
Respect your needs as a champion
To become an effective player, an athlete should have the right shoes, and uniforms, and other necessary thing physically that simplify him for being an athletic person.
We as champions in our own, we also have the needs to become effective by recognizing our physical needs. There are also mental and emotional aspect, our heart and mind should also be free from toxic encounter by preventing negative interactions.
Writers end notes :
Life is like a battlefield, we had a fight each day, we sometimes lose and win the track that we choose to follow. But, always remember that we are champions, we can win against the adversities of life that will come our way. We are not alone in this battle, we are not alone running through the race, we have companions, life coaches, mentors and a lot more fandom that surround us, especially our best supporter, like family and friends.
As champions, we are not only aiming to win, but also to assist those who needs helps, relate in their experiences and respect their way of playing.
