Some hazardous things for kids

Hello dear readers, I just like the sound that I hear this time while I'm writing an article in our balcony. The birds are singing, different voices and it seems they are choir, hehehe.

For today's blog I will be sharing with you some of the hazardous things that we should be aware as parents, guardians or an eldest companion of our child at home and even in school. In the morning, I used to go to school because I have to check my daughter if she's fine, because she has a headache yesterday, that's why she came home before the class end.

As I have sit there for a few a minutes,my friend came, she's a mom of a kinder pupil, the room next to my daughter. And she shared with me that there is a child who died today, a 5 years old pupil because of a candy. I don't have any photo of that candy, but maybe you already saw it in different stores. It's like an egg, it has a plastic container, sometimes color red and white. The candy inside seems like a gummy,which needs to be chew.

So, the kids was choke with that candy, and because it's sticky it doesn't go down, it was stuck into the throat, that's why the child can't breath and died. They have brought it to the hospital but it was too late because it's already dead upon the arrival. I was alarmed too because my daughter used to buy it maybe a few weeks ago, it was so sweet, and it's the reason also that she got a tonsillitis.

I've come to think that we should always be vigilant my dear parents, because we even in simple things our children's life is at stake.

Here are some of the hazardous things for kids.

Coin

A few months ago, we have a friend too, that shared with us on how did her son have suffered from choking with the 5 pesos coin. It happened inside her house at night, when she noticed that her son was vomiting, and after a few minutes, it can't breath, that's why her son keep on jumping over and over again. And they brought it to the nearest hospital, to find what's the cause. The coin was in his throat, that's why it cannot breath properly. They have waited for the doctor, and they are expecting that their son will undergo an operation but, thankfully the coin just go down into his stomach and carried away with the poop after few days.

We shouldn't let our kids play with a coin, because, sometimes they put into their mouth everything that they can see or touch around the house.

Hot water

When the water is already boiling, don't let your child handle any hot mug or cup, or be aware if the baby is in your side while pouring out any hot liquid. Can you see a baby or a child that suffer from burn, with hot water? Yes I do. And it was very painful experience, it can also take away your skin or give a scar into their body that will stay for a long period of time.

Small seeds like okra

Yes small seeds can possibly harm your child too. I have a neighbor who suffered from it,a 5 years old girl. Her parents was a vegetable farmer, and they used to gather seeds of okra, to sell it, in the buyer on the next day. But, prior to that, her daughter have inhaled the piece of okra seeds, and it's gets into her nose. Her mother didn't know what happened, but they have found out that the girl was playing with the okra seeds that they put on the floor for classification.

They just heard their daughter crying in pain, but she couldn't say what happened, she just said that there is something inside her nose. So, they brought her to the EENT, and they saw a okra seeds. The doctor have taken away the seeds and they pain 2,500 pesos.

Bucket of water

Have you hear baby died because he/she was drown in a bucket of water?Yes it really happened in real life. There was one time that the mother was having her online browsing on her phone and doing chicka , and she didn't noticed that her baby was going to the bucket with water. The baby played the water and suddenly it was drown in there. Later on, someone finds her but it was too late, the baby have already died.

Whenever we are too busy at home or we have something to finished at work, there should always be someone who's watching the innocent child especially with toddlers and babies who crawls, walk, run inside the house. We should keep in mind to moved away some of the harmful things around us, like knife, barbecue stick, peel of banana, wet floor,electric switch or socket, and other things that can make them suffer or cause them worst scenario.
