"Every mother/nanay has super power like Darna"

"No one can defeat the super power like Darna of a mother "

Would you agree that we are like Darna, we can do everything for our loved ones? Yes we are, it's not only exclusive with women, moms, but also with dads, and every family in the world.

As I have watched" Darna"(a new series in Philippines television, she is a hero like superwoman), I've come to think that even if we don't have powers like her as a superhero, we did more than what she did.

Yesterday, when I was able to attend in our homeroom meeting in our school we talked about having a "pentakasi", of tagbo (which means we have to work together in building our temporary learning facility for pupils), I have seen that majority of the parents who have attend are women, only two boys are there.Considering that boys are working and breadwinners, so they are not able to attend, but, even if women are majority they can still work like men. They have bring a shovel and put the gravel on the sack and take it to school for the flooring so that the students won't be flooded.

I remember, when I was still single, I accompanied a friend of mine to their house, and have a sleepover. Her mom was a single mother that's why her mom will do every task needed in their family. She can do farming, and many things, but, what makes me impressed with her is that, she can do a carpentry. She's the one who build their house, with the help of her daughter, and they have finished it slowly.

Women are Emphatic

Empathy is an attitude in which a woman has the ability to sense others emotions and their feelings. I always observed that even if I didn't talked a lot, my mother knows me whenever I feel sad or there's something bothering in my mind, it seems that she can read my thoughts already even if I didn't say anything.

Women can discern

Pang-unawa in tagalog, we have wide range of discernment with things around us. Have you observed that even if the children did mistakes not just one or twice but a lot of times, a mom will always be there to accept, comfort and give chances. That's what moms can do for their family.

Women are soft-hearted

Yes we are, that's why we cried easily and we are easily attached by others emotions, we cry with the lonely, we laugh with the happy people, we feel sad when others feel the same. Moms are like ambassadors too, when their is a child who commit mistake, we can always first approach our mother before we reveal to the whole family, because we can feel that a mom will always be there to accept us and forgive us when we fail. She can make our father change his mad, everytime he get mad with us, she will say enough, if we are already crying a lot. Have you experienced that?

My end notes:

Actually, we doesn't need to wear costume like superwoman or Darna to be defined as a great woman, we only need to have a heart in everything that we do.

And lastly, woman:

She's driven by a cause, what it is?

It's love,

For her family, which makes her exert rare strength and she can endure such kind of things that seems impossible for the sake of her children.

That's what great superwoman can do.

I remember when I was still studying, even if we don't have enough money for our allowance in the next day, my mother will find ways, to send us to school, she will do laundry with our neighbors,just to provide our food and to go school.

I know that some of you have also experience, on how did your mother sacrificed for you.

And maybe some of you can relate how does it feel if you are already a mom, it's now our turn to be a supermom. No regrets being a mother, right? Such a noble job.

Moms are the legit super women on earth!
