The loved died, who says true love never dies, maybe when parties keep putting in their best to it, however when one is in love while the other is just trying to flow along, its only a matter of time before the one swimming alone thinks its time to stop enduring and go in search of a true partner. If the partner doesn't come around so quick, they wouldn't mind waiting for as long, because there are already fed up with dealing with trying to strive in a relationship that's not bringing in the vibe.
Its only a matter of time before the blind love opens up its eyes and see clearly, see things for what it truly is. And then we can truly choose either to stay or find a greener pasture. Everyone is capable of the getting a greener pasture, out of the numerous people out there someone is definitely going to treat you right. Let's try to see before we dive into marriage, the dating and courting period is supposed to be the eye opening. The time we know if we are to continue the journey or just turn away.
A Short Story - Is This Love Or Hate
Eve was undoubtedly in love with Jake, it was clear and everyone knew, but we being the friends of Jake can't be so sure if Jake loves eve just as much as she loves him, in fact the relationship started off which Jake just keeping her to cure his boredom, he knows she loves him, she didn't ask him out though, but her character shows it clearly. I remember chatting with Jake sometime ago while he was complaining of needing a serious relationship, one that he can spend the rest of his life with. I was like but you can ask eve out, she loves you and would clearly fit in for you, and he said, yes he knows, but don't have much attraction towards eve, rather there is another girl he's looking to.
Then go for the other girl, he agreed and asked the other girl on a date, and she turned down the date offer and went ahead to clear the air that she was not into Jake, this left Jake feeling less than a man, you could see the mood swinging down low, it was funny but we dare not laugh at that moment, there would be plenty of other time to make fun with that. We knew Kylie has definitely caused havoc to my guys heart.
Next option I guess, Jake immediately took his phone to call eve, knowing she was a easier bait, anything to make him feel superior again. So few hours later, eve came around and he asked her out, eve didn't just agree to it as she asked for time to think about it, but we all knew what she was going to say. I wanted to ask Jake the question, I thought you didn't love her, you told me this just yesterday, what changed, but I kept to myself, already he wasn't in a good mood and there would be plenty of time to clarify the air, for now let's leave Jake to do his thing.
The next day, Eve of course agreed and the love story started, well I noticed he was trying to show eve off to the other girl who turned him down, maybe to earn his respect, but it was not working, the other girl Kylie understood what Jake was doing was only out of the bitterness of his heart, and would only laugh and tease harder, this got Jake more hell bent on seeking revenge a way to get Kylie without caring that he was in a committed with another girl. From the first day eve has been dating a ghost, she thought but he asked me out first, so there must be something he has for her, but nah....
It only got worse, Kylie went on to date another guy a friend to us and this got Jake more bitter, she turned me down to date Robin, now Robin would take him for a joke, it was definitely a havoc, I bet if Jake had a gun this jealousy would have prompted him to kill both Kylie and Robin, it wasn't funny at all. Let's not forget our dear Eve, now pinned in love with someone who forgets are presents, but doesn't want to let her go, she was easing his aggression, taking all the blame. Don't blame us just yet, we had already started talking sense to Jake, trying to tell him to move on, as he isn't the first guy to be turned down, nor does eve deserve the attitude he is giving to her, to love isn't a crime, she's deserves better, so get your act together bro. Well you don't expect us to tell eve to leave our friend, would you tell your friends spouse to leave your friend? Seriously?.
It was one day I heard a call from Robin, telling me to run down to his crib, Jake had come over and got into a fight with Robin, well not because of the issue on ground, because Robin had insulted Jake that he laughs like a goat, of course its a normal insult among friends, I knew why Jake took it more personal, maybe Robin knew but kept to himself, He had came over to Robins place and after the normal friendly interaction, Robin insulted Jake and Jake flared up, insulted Robin but Robin has more humor so Robin would most definitely win the exchange of teasing, suddenly it got heated up, Jake had punched Robin and they both got into a fight that got Robin siblings to seperate them, he could me afterwards.
Well I can't take sides again, Jake you're wrong for punching over mere insults we do every time, and Robin stop the insult since he doesn't like it. Eventually Robin now bitter, probably cause he still hurt from the pain was ready to pour out his heart and kept insulting Jake, as well as saying he knows why Jake is bitter and even if Jake tries to get his girl in a million lifetime he still wouldn't be able to. Yes, this words got Jake red hot and eyes blood shot, he had just opened a fresh wound. The beast in Jake just aroused.
Wait, where is eve in all of this? Oh she is still enduring, of course she's not deaf, she hears of all what her man has been doing, and she has her own game plan. Jake on the other hand, now in a jungle state is planning something too. Innocent Robin and Kylie don't know what's coming to them. Something very outrageous is about to happen, how far can jealousy lead us.
