The massive storm has entered again into the Caribbean Sea and weather forecast states that it is bound to go past Cuba on Saturday night till at least Sunday morning.
The flood is anticipated to move towards Florida soon after . record confirms that At least a maximum 50 people are deceased in Guatemala due to erosion, landslides and flooding caused by the storm, the President of Guatemala Alejandro Giammattei announced lately ,on Thursday precisely.
The aftermath of the raging storm has left the country in a heartbreaking scene, watching vulnerable People moving a from their flooded homes, trying to find shelter and scavenge whatever's left of the flood, while some were able to save a few properties. In Puerto Barrios, there's a heart touching photograph captured on camera, a man pictured rescuing a dog and pulling it up to safety in the floodwaters,
others were seen fleeing the flooded streets,in an attempt to occupy higher ground outside their flooded homes.
One journalist had reported that..."earlier This morning we had calculated four deaths, but inevitably that now has experienced a sudden surge to over 50 deaths caused mainly by the mudslides occuring in the Huehuetenango area of montenegro and San Cristóbal,"
The disastrous storm led to a series of dangerous mudslides and Floodings which left at least 25 homes wiped clean off it's foundation in the central area of San Cristóbal, with allegedly 50 people presumed to be inside.
