Kaninang hapon ako po ay napasugod sa Ayala Center kasi tumawag ang anak ko at pina check ang cellphone ng kanyang partner na naiwan sa bahay. Mabuti at nakita namin. Gusto niya ipadala sa office nila via Grab but I told her that I will bring it to their office para makapasyal din po ako sa Ayala Center. Their office building is just in front ifvtge Ayala Mall.
While I was waiting for a ride going yo Ayala, it was very timely because the aircon bus going to Ayala with a sign "Libreng Sakay" passed by. I took a ride in this libreng sakay bus. All you need to do is just
fill up the "attendance sheet/record" .
Meton din po bang "libreng sakay " aircon buses sa lugar ninyo? Very helpful po ito sa mga commuters kasi maka save na po kami sa pamasahe at comfortable pa sa byahe kasi malamig.

If you notice the white paper on the left side, dyan po mag lista ang mga passengers na sumasakay. Record po yan ng driver at kanilang i.submit sa proper authority to claim their salaries.

It's sunny yet windy afternoon.
It's timely because it's my laundry day. I had 3 loads of laundry. The first load are dry already while the second load has been hanged. I am just wait for the final load to be done so that I can rest.
Yesterday , Monday, was our garbage collection day but the garbage truck did not pass by so all the garbage containers stayed outside. My garbage was inside a sack. The garbage from our neighbors were inside a plastic container. When I was feeding my pets last night, I noticed that the neighbor placed their container near our gate. I did not bother to complain because it was still in order . When my eldest daughter and her husband arrived late in the evening from their dinner meeting, they saw that the scavengers had scattered the garbage and it was all over our entrance. My son-in-law took a photo and shared in our group chat (this is shown in the first photo). When I woke up and checked my phone, the first photo shocked me. Oh no, please don't give me this job when my back is still in pain! I did not go out early because I still attended an early morning online mass. After the mass, I boiled some eggs for breakfast. While waiting for my eggs to be cooked I checked the scattered garbage and to my surprise, everything was cleaned as shown in the second photo which I took this morning. Thank you Lord!
Maybe the garbage truck came early and I did not hear them pick up the garbage. I was so happy that everything was clean already! Thank you garbage collectors and neighbors who cleaned the scattered trash.
That's my early morning nightmare turn into joy!

Special hopia
Kararating lng ni bunso at partner dito sa bahay galing sa Manila. They had a very important meeting with their friend there during the weekend.
This is one of their pasalubongs , ube queso hopia from Eng BeeTin. It's very delicious. I really love ube moreso with added cheese. Have you tried this ube queso hopia?
I don't think we have this kind of hopia here in Cebu City. I'm glad that I was able to taste it after our lunch.

I am still in bed because my back has been aching since yesterday. I tried massaging with some massage oil to relieve the pain and hopefully it will be gone with just being rested.
I saw this photo in my old phone. I wish I could buy some "puto maya" , sticky rice paired with hot chocolate or sekwati.
I am craving this for breakfast.
Kumain na po ba kayo ng almusal?
Ako ay hindi pa. Hahanap pa kung ano ang kakainin or makahanap ng sticky rice, hehe.

Kumain na po ba kayo ng hapunan?
Ako po ay tapos na kumain. Hindi pa rin ako nag luto kasi marami pang kanin at ulam na iinitin.
Ayon nakaraos na rin at busog na busog sa fried lechon at cheesy hotdog.
Nakakain na rin ang mga alaga na si doggie Tenshi at Red Pepper cats. Binigyan ko rin ng kanin si alley cat Ginger.
Habang naglilinis ako ng mga photos sa gallery , nakita ko itong mga hanging plants ng sister ko.
Ang daming nakasabit sa gilid ng bahay.
Alam nyo ba na noong pandemic at nauso ang mga "Plantitas ", nagkakapera ang sister ko kasi marami bumibii ng halaman niya. Pumupunta sa bahay at namimili ng mga tanim ang mga customers. Marami din ang bumibili ng hanging plants. Kailangan na naman daw mag repot ng bago na hanging plants kasi dumadami na sila sa pot kaso wala na ngayon bumibili. Tapos na ang craze na bumibili ng mga tanim.
Anyway, kahit wala na bumibili, nakaka aliw tingnan ang mga green plant hanging around the house.

Love offering
A blessed Sunday my dear friends.
I am home alone today.
Bunso and partner were out of town.
My eldest daughter and her husband went out early to serve the Feast held at Cinema 5 Ayala Center. They served at 10am and 11:15am sessions. I just gave them my love offering and will attend the Feast via FB live here at home.
I did not join them because I had to clean up my room.
I attended an online mass early this morning too.
While I was cleaning my room, I had to stop after a few minutes because my back has been bothering me.
I still have to continue cleaning tomorrow because I need to rest my back. I was able to clean one corner and also cleaned my electric fan and the table near it.
You know when we clean up, we usually find some treasures too. I had been looking for my Ralph Lauren sunglasses and I finally found it. It was given by my sister-in-law so it's very valuable to me.
Mga kaingay, oras na para maghanda ng hapunan.
Nakapagluto ba po ako ng kanin.
Nag fry din ako ng chicken nuggets at meron pa kaming isang steamed pampano fish.
Kaninang lunch, nag gisa ako ng talong at May kaunti pang naiwan. Kakainin kocrin yun kasi sayang po magtapon ng pagkain.
Ito naka ready na ang ulam.
Mag shower muna ako bago mag tawag ng aking panganay at kanyang husband para kumain . Kaming tatlo lng po ngayon ang kakain ng dinner.

Oh what a beautiful sunny skies we have today.
I am here sitting outside breathing some fresh air while preparing my rice for cooking.
I already defrosted a piece of fish for steaming.
I'll gather some green onion leaves from the garden.
I noticed that some were folded already so I better get and use it for my steamed fish.
I will also fry some lechon left overs to add to my viands.
What's your plan for lunch my dear friends?
I'll better get moving and prepare lunch for the family.

Bonsai
I have these photos saved in my gallery.
I took these photos when I went with my friends at Resorts Negrense.
Before I went for a dip at their pool, I went around and found this bonsai garden so fascinating. They have a number of bonsai plants decorated around the property.
Bonsai as defined in Oxford languages: "is an art of growing ornamentals, artificially dwarfed trees or shrubs."
It is a Japanese word meaning “tree in a pot.”
Looking at Bonsai trees give us a sense of "harmony, balance, patience, or even luck" as described by most writers.
Most bonsai trees lived for decades some even reached for a hundred years.
You can see how intricate these bonsai trees were formed and trimmed to follow how the artist owner wanted it to grow. I can feel the patience and artistic side of the creator of this bonsai.
Isn't it a lovely sight to see?

Thank you Lord Jesus for this beautiful day.
I already did one load of laundry and hanged the clothes to dry. There's still another se tof light colored clothes but I did not load it yet because I was planning to go out early to get important documents from my cousin's office.
I ate an early lunch or brunch too.
When bunso came down to use the bathroom, she suggested that I come with them when they go to the office so that they can just drop me to where I am going. This way, I don't need to commute.
That's a good idea so I consented.
I will go with them after lunch any way I will only pick up some docs and the office is along their way.
The photo below is my brunch. I had 2 fried eggs, bacon, rice and turmeric tea.
I hope you have already eaten a good meal.

Sorry ngayon lang po ako naka post.
Pumunta ako ng market this afternoon and I bought some shrimps for our dinner. I also bought ready to eat grilled fish "anduhaw". The lady wrapped it with banana leaves and then newspaper before putting it in a plastic bag. I did not open it yet to preserve the heat.
I already cooked the shrimp in garlic and butter.
Only three of us will eat dinner tonight because bunso and partner are in the office.
I will wait for my eldest daughter and my son-in-law when they are ready to eat.
Meanwhile, I'll stick around and visit some friends' posts.

It's almost 6pm, maghanda handa na po tayo para may maihain sa ating pamilya.

Blessings for today
After lunch, may grasya po na dumating kanina habang nagsasampay ako ng mga nilabhan ni bunso.
Nagbigay ang aking Kumadre at Kompadre ng mga frozen goods. We have bacon, hotdogs, hungarian sausages, and chicken tocino.
Maraming salamat po sa grasya na natanggap ngayon.
May meat store po sila sa Carbon market, isa sa mga malaking wet market dito sa city.
Alam ko na ano lulutuin mamaya for dinner!

Magandang umaga mga kaingay.
Umulan ng malakas dito habang kumakain kami ng almusal ng aking panganay.
She opened our back door to get some fresh air.
After a few minutes, I noticed splatters of rain were getting inside the house so I went out to close the door.
Then I saw our container for fabric conditioner on the floor opened. Oh my, I refilled that container with 1 liter of fabric conditioner last Sunday. We only used it for 2 loads of laundry. All the contents spilled on the floor. What a waste! Maybe some friends (stray cats) from the backyard came and bumped over the container.
When I tried to pick up the container, I felt the floor was so slimy and slidy ( I was on foot only). I washed and scrubbed our laundry area flooring which was already very dirty.
I had to do it carefully to avoid any untoward incidents. Good there is a small brush in the laundry area so that was what I used in scrubbing the floor. I tried calling my daughter to get the "walis tingting " in the front yard but she had gone upstairs to continue her work from home. I made use of the small brush and look at our floor now.
Well, I am glad that the floor is now cleaned and the rain gad stopped. I will fo my laundry after a few minutes , just in time when the floor dries up.

It's so hot inside the house so I went out to get some fresh air.
I was welcomed by a very fragrant smell andcsaw the snake plants flowers are in full bloom. All the potted snake plants are blooming. I checked outside and saw some flower spikes of the snake plants planted outside. No wonder it smells very good outside, like there's a perfume being sprayed.
Does your snake plant give you flowers too?
Snake plants are known to be useful indoors because it absorb toxins in the air. Naturally, plants give off oxygen which is very useful for us humans.

I am here at Ayala Mall and I just ate my lunch which is Taco salad. I loved this salad because it has some ground beef, tortillas and greens. It's a light lunch and I am happy with it.
I am going around the mall by myself. I was looking for an outfit and I prefer to go alone.
Maybe later, I will join my daughter and her hubby if I am still here and not get tired. They came here earlier to do the live FEAST. I was not able to join because the venue has limited capacity.

Snake plants
Nag umpisa ng namukadkad ang mga bulaklak ng potted snake plants ko.
Humahalimuyak po siya at naamoy ko habang nagpapakain ako ng pusa at kay doggie Tenshi.
Parang may perfume po sa paligid.
I am so happy because all my potted snake plants are flowering. This is my first time to see the potted snake plants with flowers.
I have some snake plants planted directly on soil in plant boxes. They were planted outside our house. Many times they gave me flowers too but not this time.
I hope you can also smell the fragrance of snake plant's flowers.

Flores de Mayo
May is a month of flowers.
In our church, we offer flowers to Mother Mary every mass during the month of May.
I saw these beautiful white flowers at the Resorts Negrense. We were about to go home when these white flowers looked so inviting so I took some shots.
I chose this photo to share with you at this time.
Upon seeing these white flowers I was reminded that we usually offer flowers when we attend mass during the month of May. We called this activity Flores de Mayo. There were also some little girls who wear white clothes and act as angels. They donned a pair of wings made of feathers.
My children had tried acting as angels when they were still small. It's a good experience for them.

Nagpahinga po ako sa araw na ito.
Nakaramdam po ako ng sakit ng likod kaya nag relax muna pagkatapos kumain ng lunch.
Tinikman ko ang isang avocado na hinog at super sarap po. Nilagyan ko lng ng powdered milk.
Naubos ko ang isang avocado kaya feel ko ang kabusogan. Ang sarap matulog ngayong hapon kasi medyo makulimlim ang panahon.
Sge mga kaibigan, ipikit ko muna ang mga mata ko para makapahinga.

I hope everyone had finished eating their meal.
I ate an early dinner because I was alone in the house. My eldest daughter and her husband arrived past 7pm already. I had fed all pets and was getting ready for my evening bath when they showed me this ice cream dessert.
After taking a shower, we ate dessert together.
This is a chocolate coated vanilla ice cream.
It tasted so good.
It's very timely since the weather is so warm and humid.
I can't invite you because everything has been consumed.

A blessed Friday to you my dear friends.
It's a sunny day once again.
I'm still in bed because I felt some pain at my waistline. This must be a sign of aging, haha.
I was checking my phone photo gallery and saw the photo I got from our old house in Bacolod.
I am sharing here the cross stitch work of my younger sister. Many years ago, this was her hobby. She displayed her work at our walls. I took a close up shot of the first photo because it represented us four sisters. These are samples of her creativity and craftsmanship.
Each and every one of us has his or her own talent or hobbies. I am very proud of my sister because she really loves to work with her hands like crocheting, doing cross stitch, gardening, sewing clothes for her grand kids, cooking ,etc.
She also gave me some of her crocheted items which I will show you next time.

It's Thursday and it's my laundry day.
I still have 30 minutes more to wait before I will dry and hang my clean laundry. Meanwhile I'll have a short visit to my friends here at Noise.

We still do our regular tasks and happy to do it for our loved ones. Some go to work to earn a living while others stay at home to take care of the children and family. We should honor whatever tasks we take and do the best of our abilities to perform what is expected of us.

Currently attending a wedding anniversary party of my husband's cousin and also his nephew.
The have hired a band so we were having fun watching and listening to music.
There were many guests.
Our cousins were married for 46 years while their son was married for 11years. It's a big celebration and I was glad to join them.
Being married for these number of years is a great accomplishment.
It is very fitting to join the couples in the celebration .

We had chicken inasal from Bacolod and sautéed bokchoy. I bought lots of Bacolod chicken inasal because my daughters love its taste.
We also had chicken oil and soy sauce. It made chicken inasal taste yummier.

It's the end of my vacation time.
Currently at San Carlos City Port on my way to Toledo City , then Cebu City.
I am taking the Ceres Bus from Bacolod City and it passed by Don Salvador Benedicto route. The bus was fully loaded, some passengers were standing. I am glad I arrived at the bus terminal earlier to get a seat.
This photo is the view that I took from Lite Ferries boat.
We have started our 2-hour trip from San Carlos City to Toledo City.
The sea is calm.
Fire!
I was awakened by a neighbor's cry "Fire", "Fire".
"May sunog, sunog. "
I came out of the house to see where the fire was.
I can see that it was very near , just a few houses away.
My brother-in-law came out too. He called the Fire Department and was advised that firemen had been deployed. True enough after a few minutes, I heard sirens. The fire was out just in a few minutes.
Thank you Lord for protecting and keeping us safe.
