Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) I have to flex these flowers which I found this noon. Are you familiar with Ylang Ylang tree and flower? I found some Ylang Ylang trees at the Capitol Compound mini park. It has a scientific name Cananga odorata, or also known as fragrant tree or perfume tree. It's blooming and very fragrant. I was so amazed to see such a flower in the city. This is a very valuable tree because essential oils are extracted from its flowers to be used in making perfumes. I asked the guard if he knew how to plant Ylang Ylang tree but he had no idea. I touched it's beautiful flower but the guard warned me " No picking of flowers." I just smelled its desirable fragrance before I left the park. Sharing with you the photos which I personally took noon time today. My own content.

Yes it's very used in perfumes as you said and I love that wonderful scent!!

so unique that this tree can issue small leaves on tree branches. yellow and lined on tree branches. so interesting.
