Fresh catch of the day. I saw this photo in my old cellphone gallery taken 2 years ago. Can you see the freshly caught lapulapu fish? They were the "fresh catch of the day." The fishermen brought his fresh fish lapulapu to the resort where we were staying while on vacation . We wanted to buy the fish but he refused. I then saw him went to the resort kitchen. That night, we ordered sweet and sour lapulapu for dinner and noticed that the fish served was similar in size to the one in the photo. We got to taste the fresh catch of the day , fish lapulapu. Life in the islands is really amazing especially for city -grown ladies like us. We enjoyed eating fresh fish and seafoods. Their vegetables and fruits come from the town or mainland.
