I took this photo in April 2017 when my friends and I had an overnight stay in a resort owned by my brother in Christ ( his mother is my Godmother). I was amazed by the color of this flower. Is this what they call Kumintang flower or Periwinkle ? I guess this plant has medicinal benefits. Good morning.

Yes that is kumintang and the leaves can be a medicinal trestment for stomachache. Leaves are boiled in a cup of water.
