The two statues on the Lovers Bridge have witnessed countless real life love stories throughout many decades. One man, one woman, sitting on each side of the bridge, looking at each other.
This is the man...
...and this is the woman.
The view of the river from the bridge.
While I was taking some pictures, out of nowhere, a flock of doves landed on the bridge, a few of them came really close.
Then all of a sudden, something made them fly away.
They were gone as unexpectedly as they came.
But the statue couple is still there, and will stay there probably forever. I know, they are made of stone and are not real people, but somehow they stir up some emotions. It could be due to the skill of the artist who created them. Looking at this artwork, I can see deep devotion, loyalty and commitment.
And of course, endless love.
