The reality of old age is here With me

A favor done by God

Mountains I can no longer move

It's nothing but mercy from my Lord

My bones are now feeble

Arms and legs uncoordinated

The bubbling energy of youthful days gone

And with it the fecundity of yester years

The agility and swiftness of old are all gone

And in their place meekness and ease

Yet, old age is replete with honour

With it comes full wisdom and references

Old age is accorded respect by all

It's a treasure sought after by all and sundry
