Relax. It's Saturday. Nevertheless, take a deep breath in between your works if ever you are working.
I went for a stroll along the beach road and ended up at the resort where I took some snaps with pleasure. It was still early so I enjoyed my "me time" in silence.
I remember one occasion where me and my family had held a birthday celebration in this place. The food were excellent with the relaxed ambience, not to mention band performing calm and light pieces of music. Anyway, I wish y'all have a great weekend. 💙

Howdy, my dear friends!
I hope you have or had a great day.
It was a tiring but a blessed day for me. I was obliged to attend to some personal stuffs at the neighboring city. I spent my Tuesday there and returned home just before dusk.
So my body is aching for a needed lie on my bed.
For now, I leave you some of my snaps taken early this morning as I leave the house. These gorgeous immaculately white hibiscus blooms welcomed me as I walked out of the door as if have wished me a peaceful day ahead.

Great Monday morning, my dear friends!
It is rare for me posting this early. I am just delighted to have my breakfast the unusual way -- coffee with milk and pancit with pan de sal, breaking off from the usual bread and spread. Need these stuffs to fuel up before I start dealing with the hustles of the day ahead.

I AM COMPLETELY HAPPY
The boy came up to a big stone, stood there and said, "Big stone, what's your occupation?"
"I lie on the ground," answered the stone.
"But when night falls, what do you do then?" continued the boy.
"I just keep lying on the ground."
"And when it is cold and snows, then what?"
"I keep right on lying on the ground."
"You poor stone," said the lad.
"But I'm not poor," answered the stone. "I am just happy to be a stone as you are to be a little boy. While you are jumping around, I'm quiet happy to lie still. And I don't feel the cold. Nor do I have fear of darkness or the night. Little boy, I assure you: I am quite content and happy the way I am."

A Walk To Remember
I had an amazing walk on the first day of September. This morning I went on foot to the cable tv provider's office to settle our bills. I passed by the prairie. I enjoyed the relaxing scenery with the scent of fresh grasses under the sunshine, clouds, blue sky, and a bird. You're lucky if you'd find the bird in the pic.
On the other hand, how's the weather at your end?
I am glad that the two tropical cyclones that would have probably affect the northern parts of the country begin to weaken according to the latest weather advisory (PAGASA). Nevertheless, heavy rains and gusts of winds are expected in the areas. So, continue to keep safe and stay dry, my friends out there. 💙

Waiting Vs. Enjoying
I spotted this striped lynx spider under the rose petal. I thought, "Is it waiting for something, or just enjoying the sunshine?" Heck do I know, I'm not a spider! Lol.
Sometimes we tend to be stubborn in our 'waiting' for something, for someone, or for an ideal time. Hence, we unconsciously missed a lot already of the many beautiful opportunities in our life.

This quote by Emily Dickinson got me thinking for a while. There are two important elements in the statement: the flowers and the bee. For me the former represent beautiful words while the latter exemplify action.
Sometimes words however lovely and pleasant they may be if not put into a concrete deed would remain as they are -- hollow and insignificant. Just a thought.
Anyways, I'm delighted to see that our cattleya has finally graced us its first blooms. I noticed that a couple of bees were already attracted to its alluring purplish color and its delicately sweet scent.

Seriously? I thought, when I saw at the supermarket this curry flavored noodles. I love curry. So I did not hesitate to pick a pack of it.
Curry never fails to seduce my palate. Hence, I prepared the ingredients for my version of a Curry Pancit Canton (that is, without the coconut milk).
For the product's suggested full recipe, I included a snapshot of the packaging below. It's a must try for the curry lovers.
Hmm my nostrils were filled with the familiar spicy aroma of curry towards the end of my cooking. So mouthwatering tastiness!

Crops of the earth.
Hey buddies.
The climate is cold at 26°C and the rain has not stopped yet since morning. I hope the weather would not bring damage especially in the rice farms.
This afternoon my cousin arrived bringing us some of the harvests from the farm in the mountains like coconuts, pili nuts, pineapples, and bananas. What a heartwarming gesture in this cold day.
I know that many places are now affected by the non-stop raining. So, please keep yourselves dry and warm. 💙

My honey, my only honey.
What a rainy Monday morning to start the week. For this I need my honey to warm me up. Yes. A couple ounces a day of pure honey keeps some maladies away.
I get my honey from a family friend in the mountains. I'm sure that she supplies us an unadulterated one. I keep the honey in the fridge for months and they do not crystalize.
Honey has long been considered as a superfood. It is a healthy source of carbs. And it has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-bacterial properties as well.
So, get your honey when you can for a fit and beautiful you.

Hey hooman!
I was in a hurry to do some errands when out of the corner of my eye I saw this feline standing by. I thought instantly that maybe she wanted to pose for me for a nice photo op. She looked regal in her posture by the way. After some clicks have been made she stealthily walked away.
In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives we should not hesitate to pause for a while when we meet something that would enrich our heart with simple joys of living.

I brought some wrist watches to my regular technician for maintenance and repair today. This technician is a lady. I have high regard with this woman for her efficient skill and honesty. I always wonder in awe how she passionately handle meticulously every minute detail of the parts of the timepiece that she repairs. This craft is not for the sloppy ones, indeed.
