"The lovely flowers embarrass me. They make me regret I am not a bee…" —  Emily Dickinson This quote by Emily Dickinson got me thinking for a while. There are two important elements in the statement: the flowers and the bee. For me the former represent beautiful words while the latter exemplify action. Sometimes words however lovely and pleasant they may be if not put into a concrete deed would remain as they are -- hollow and insignificant. Just a thought. Anyways, I'm delighted to see that our cattleya has finally graced us its first blooms. I noticed that a couple of bees were already attracted to its alluring purplish color and its delicately sweet scent.
