-RA No. 11934- Three days ago our President signed that controversial SIM Card Registration Act (RA No. 11934) into law. It aims to combat fraud and scams using the text messages. Though this may sounds good, I am just as skeptical because our personal data would be compromised if a breach in the security system happens. Additionally, some countries that are currently imposing this kind of law "experience more drawbacks than advantages." https://www.rappler.com/business/marcos-jr-signs-sim-card-registration-act-will-really-stop-scammers/ Well, let us see what will come about next. Que sera, sera. Are you (Filipinos) ready for this? For the time being, I'm just done with my morning tasks. So, I'm preparing something to feed myself with. Stay tuned. :-) I hope you're enjoying your Thursday, my dear friends. π https://noise.app/Vin0 =β€= #VR_Photography #simcardregistration #skepticalme

πβ it was a joke po π
this is for prepaid users only, right? i wonder how the common Juan who does not have a valid govt id could comply with this act... que sera sera hahaha
I don't think so.
Most of the time, the mobile phone service providers exploit and profit from our personal information that is registered with them.
That's right. There must be some loopholes in the system. Btw, is this law implemented in your country?
there is always a possibility of a security breach but I am looking more into the possibilities of this if it would come to materialize.
That's the right outlook.
Oh governments and their legislations π
Do you have this in your country?
Nope π Hope it never happens here
I agree with this to lessen or totally remove the scammers.
I hope so.
Minimum of 1000 per second. So, dapat malaki ang bandwidth dahil konteng days lang ibinigay.
Magkaguliyang ta ani ron.
Ay tinood jud. Pila ta ka milyon. Tibuok Pinas. Unya magdungan og register. Mag lag jud na, mag down pa ba if gamay ra ang kaya sa ilang site visitor.
Ambot unsaon nila na pag implement. Tanawon lang nato unya puhon.
Gani. Porsyur maglagoy ko ani. Hahajajja
Unsay lagoy? Hehe
Lagot diay na sir. Hahaaha.
An alternative means should be created if that's the case.
