Setting up the Christmas Tree. I finally decided to set up the Christmas tree. My old man has been persistently asking me for this since September which I find a bit childish. My bad. I think he's right. The festive tree perks the spirit up and breaks the monotony of daily routine by simply gazing at it. So, I took the old artificial tree with all its decorations from the storage room. I just recycled whatever were salvaged from the last year's occasion to save some pennies.โฆ

Purple cheer. Enjoying a serving of this sweet Biko-L. I just coined the term. Biko (rice cake) with the capital "L" which stands for Lila (Filipino word for Violet). Food color is added to the glutinous rice to achieve this luxurious "ube" (purple yam) color. I think there is some ambivalence in here. For according to chromatics, violet and purple are two different shades. So, which is which then? Well, I leave that to your judgement. I just want to enjoy my snack. ๐โฆ
