Purple cheer. Enjoying a serving of this sweet Biko-L. I just coined the term. Biko (rice cake) with the capital "L" which stands for Lila (Filipino word for Violet). Food color is added to the glutinous rice to achieve this luxurious "ube" (purple yam) color. I think there is some ambivalence in here. For according to chromatics, violet and purple are two different shades. So, which is which then? Well, I leave that to your judgement.
