Setting up the Christmas Tree. I finally decided to set up the Christmas tree. My old man has been persistently asking me for this since September which I find a bit childish. My bad. I think he's right. The festive tree perks the spirit up and breaks the monotony of daily routine by simply gazing at it. So, I took the old artificial tree with all its decorations from the storage room. I just recycled whatever were salvaged from the last year's occasion to save some pennies. According to tradition Christmas trees should be put up at the beginning of Advent. However, it depends from place to place I guess. Yes, the star. It is symbolic as well as biblical. I always prefer to put a star on top of the Christmas tree instead of any commercialized Christmas decor.
