A Walk To Remember I had an amazing walk on the first day of September. This morning I went on foot to the cable tv provider's office to settle our bills. I passed by the prairie. ANGKO Here comes the thunderstorm. So, I decided to make myself a cup of hot black coffee. I paired it to our local delicacy called Angko -- a Philippine version of the Mochi of Japan. -Sinigang sa Kahel- The rain stopped already. And I just finished my kitchen duties. I prepared "sinigang sa kahel" for lunch. It is a stewed dish with sour and savory taste. -Sweet Cane- These tall perennial grass called sugar cane kindled some joyful childhood memories in me. We used to have these planted in our ancestral home.
