-The Food Hawker- Is HONESTY still the best policy? I heard the familiar voice of the food hawker that regularly pass by our street to sell a variety of snack products. She comes from another town that is known for the production of local delicacies. So, I summoned her to come inside to see what she brought this time. Then I selected some items and paid her. She handed me some change which I didn't bother to check. After a couple of minutes she returned knocking at the gate to my surprise. There and then she apologized for giving me the wrong amount of change unintentionally. Apparently there was a little error in the computation. And she gave me the lacking amount embarrassedly for which I graciously accepted. I praised her for her honesty, a value that is becoming unpopular nowadays. Wow. You can't really judge a person for what you can see. Maybe she's not rich but she's honest. That's the best for me. And the rich people are the one who's not honest. Not all but some.

That's beautiful. And also a graat marketing. She couldn't know that you didn't noticed. And she could be "branted" a cheater ". By being honest she gained a client, you'll surely buy more from her next time ❤️❤️

I still believe honesty always is the best policy. It should be for all of us. However, such people as you wrote about are getting less and less.
