25 - Leonid Fedun

Russian billionaire businessman and former Russian military officer, Fedun is the second-largest shareholder of Spartak Moscow, Russia's most successful football club.

Awarded the Order For Merit to the Fatherland 4th Order and the Order of Honour by the Russian Government, he owns 9.2% of Lukoil shares, a Russian multinational energy corporation headquartered in Moscow.

He owns a number of expensive toys including the 72 meter yacht Axioma with two pools and a cinema and once offered £400 million pounds to purchase Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers, which was rejected.

Currently sitting at number 197 on Forbes world billionaire list, Fedun had a total estimated net worth of $8.5 billion dollars.

24 - Petr Aven

The head of Alfa-Bank, Russia's largest commercial bank, Aven graduated from Moscow State University in 1977 and holds a PhD in economics.

After serving as Minister of Foreign Economic Relations for the Russian Federation between 1991–1992,Aven joined the Board of LetterOne Group, an international investment business.

Aven owns a large home in Wentworth, Surrey and is said to be paranoid about security, with a bombproof shelter, "intelligent" electronic fencing and a large CCTV system in the estates design.

With two other houses located in Moscow, he also owns a considerable art collection which includes many garden sculptures displayed at the property.

23 - Len Blavatnik

After making his fortune through a myriad of companies through his conglomerate company, Access Industries, Blavatnik was listed as Bloomberg Billionaires 35th wealthiest person in the world in 2021.

Blavatnik was also listed as the UK's richest person in 2015 with a fortune of £16.9 billion pounds and by 2021 his wealth had balooned to £23 billion pounds.

He owns a number of expensive things in his luxury lifestyle including a 73-meter luxury yacht named Odessa II, a $90 million dollar home in New York and a 13-bedroom grade II*-listed house in Kensington Palace Gardens dubbed one of Londons most expensive properties at £200 million pounds.

His London property, sits on a street named billionaires row features the only joint indoor and outdoor swimming pool in London and is partially located underground.

22 - Roman Abramovich

One name that will be well known in the realms of English Football, the owner of Chelsea United was once listed as the richest Russian with a fortune of close to $13.6 billion dollars, and he is now trying to sell the club.

Abramovich made his fortune after the colapse of the Soviet Union, obtaining Russian state-owned assets at prices far below market value in Russia's controversial loans-for-shares privatization program.

He owns one of the worlds largest yachts, Eclipse, estimated to be worth 340 million euro's and is currently the fourth longest afloat with its own missile detection system and its own mini-submarine.

With two helicopter pads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs, and a disco hall, Eclipse is a floating mega mansion that regularly travels to St. Martin in the Caribbean.

Abramovich also owns a property empire worth $340 million dollars, some of which was recently frozen in sanctions with a $30 million dollar Chelsea Waterfront tower Penthouse and Fyning Hill Estate worth $25 million dollars.

His Chateau de la Croe in the South of France is one of the largest homes in the country and he also owns a $23 million Colorado ski ranch.

21 - Oleg Deripaska

Founder of Basic Element, one of Russia's largest industrial groups Oleg Deripaska has a current net worth of $4 billion dollars and a mansion that has been raided by the FBI.

His large home, located in Americas Capital, Washington D.C. is located in a luxurious area of the capital and is known to be home to wealthy diplomats.

His other apartment, located in New York City was also raided after evidence linking him to interference in the 2016 presidential election was mentioned in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

His massive mansion in Moscow is now one of his only properties and the inside of the home is kept strictly private for security reasons.

Deripaska owns a large yacht named Clio, which has not yet been siezed by European countries and can accommodate 18 guests in 9 cabins and has a crew of 21.

The 60 meter yacht was built in 2006, its thought he paid roughly $65 million dollars for his floating real estate.

Deripaska also owns at least 3 Gulfstream G550 private jets and a Raytheon Hawker 800XP along with two helicopters.

20 - Alexei Kuzmichev

Going on a veritable spending spree in 2016, Kuzmichev is the 15th richest man in Russia with net worth of $6.4billion dollars.

Kuzmichev purchased a large quantity of property with a $42million dollar town house on the Upper East Side and a second $15.5million home just west of his first purchase.

It is reported the larger purchase came with two apartments that he later had converted into one 10,000 square foot unit accross four floors.

The home features 12 foot high ceilings, floor to celiing windows and something that not many people in New York have access to, a back garden.

He later sold the home for $44 million dollars and currently co-controls Alfa Group, a large banking consortium but recently resigned from LetterOne.

19 - Eugene Shvidler

Making his fortune during the privatization of Russian industry, Shvidler, along with his good friend Roman Abramovich purchased three houses in Snowmass Village, Colorado totaling over $62 million dollars in real estate.

His net worth is estimated at $1.9 billion dollars, has a degree in mathematics and has worked in companied such as oil giant Sibneft and oil trading outfit Runicom S.A.

Other assets in his massive estate include the Château Thénac vineyard in France, a $37 million home in London, a $14.5 million home in Snowmass Village, Colorado, and the yacht Le Grand Bleu.

His yacht was the 36th longest private yacht in the world in 2019 and features its own wastewater treatment system, two additional yachts and two helipads while crew total 65 and guest accommodation for 20.

18 - Vladimir Potanin

Acquiring his wealth through the controversial loans-for-shares program in Russia in the early to mid-1990s, Vladimir Potanin is currently the wealthiest man in Russia and the 58th richest person in the world.

His $24.4 billion dollar fortune includes major investments in the Rosa Khutor ski resort and a number of Iranian internet companies.

A member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, he owns three yachts all built by luxury yacht company Oceanco including the 292 foot Barbara, 290 foot Nirvana and the 249 foot Anastasia.

Potanin owns a number of private jets including a Gulfstream G650 and two Gulfstream G550 aircraft worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

17 - Suleyman Kerimov

Establishing the Suleyman Kerimov Foundation as a vehicle to focus his philanthropic efforts in 2007, Kerimov has represented the Republic of Dagestan in the Federation Council of Russia.

Kerimov's net worth is estimated at US$15 billion dollars and purchased a 55% in oil trading company Nafta Moskva in 1999.

He holds a 5% stake in Gazprom, a 6% stake in Sberbank and in 2008 he was listed as the 36th richest man in the world.

Listed among the world's 100 richest people and as Russia's eighth richest man in 2006, he purchased his hometown football club which competes in the Russian Premier League, later selling it in 2016.

He once owned a Ferrari Enzo and owned Kerimov, one of the world's largest private yachts between 2005 and 2015 before selling her to the Vice President of Equatorial Guinea.

He holds a number of awards including the Order for Merit to the Fatherland of II degree and an award for outstanding social contribution to the Republic of Dagestan.

Houses in his collection include a luxurious property on the Cote D’Azur and it is rumored he owns the famous Villa Hier, used in the comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Other rumored properties include a residence in Barvikha, a wealthy suburb of Moscow and Villa Medy Roc in Cap D’Antibes.

16 - Igor Sechin

Originally chief of staff to Vladimir Putin when he was the deputy mayor of St. Petersburg in 1994, Igor Ivanovich Sechin graduated from Leningrad State University in 1984.

Currently the chief executive officer, president and chairman of the management board of Rosneft, he is often described as one of Putin's most conservative counselors and has earned the nickname Darth Vader.

Sechin once owned the super-yacht was renamed Amore Vero, and the boat was often used by his second wife Olga in many luxurious locations.

The yacht was seized by the French government in March 2022 as part of sanctions against Sechin stemming from the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

His net worth has been estimated at $2.5 billion dollars and he once owned a large mansion before razing it to the ground due to a fallout with his wife.

15 - Pyotr (Petr) Fradkov

Graduating from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 2000, this Economist and banker was appointed head of PSB bank in 2018.

Son of Mikhail Fradkov, a former prime minister of Russia, worked to turn Russia's eighth largest financial institution into a bank that services the defense industry.

Also the general director of the Russian Export Center, he was made subject to US sanctions in March 2022 by the US Treasury department.

According to reports in Russia, Fradkov owns a grand apartment at the Academy of Sciences residential complex in Moscow said to be worth £20 million dollars.

14 - Leonid Mikhelson

Chairman and major shareholder of Novatek, Russia’s largest natural gas producer, Mikhelson also owns more than 50% of the shares in Sibur, another large gas processing and petrochemicals company.

Known as one of Russia's largest collectors of Art and founded the VAC Foundation that is dedicated to the international presentation, production and development of Russian contemporary art.

Forbes estimates his net worth at $26 billion dollars, however this is likely to have changed over recent years and he was once Russias richest man.

He owns a large home in the ultra-exclusive Barvikha community near Moscow and reports suggest he owns a $15 million house in Miami Beach, but no known pictures currently exist.

Owner of luxury yacht Pacific, she has a top speed of more than 20 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and her range is more than 4,500 nautical miles.

Two helipads are located on-deck and the yacht is most often seen in seen in Australia, Indonesia, in Florida, and in the South of France and Italy while another favorite docking location is Costa Rica.

Mikhelson is reported to have paid close to $70 million dollars for a Gulfstream G650 private jet that can hold 14 passengers and was reportedly delivered in 2013.

Mikhelson was recently mentioned in the Paradise Papers, a set of leaked offshore investment documents that revealed intense wealth.

13 - Arkady Rotenberg

Dripping in money and heads of one of the largest business empires in Russia, Arkady Rotenberg is estimated to have a net worth close to $3 billion dollars.

He is thought to own several properties in Italy and France, Upper Ribsden, a large mansion in the UK and its reported he owns a mansion in Barvikha, one of the wealthiest suburbs of Moscow.

Thought to be a close friend of Vladimir Putin, it has been revealed that the two we're former Judo sparring partners.

Rotenberg has claimed a very large, $1 billion mansion in Russia, originally known as the ‘Putin Palace‘ and listed in the Alexi Navallni list, was actually owned by himself.

Owner of the ultra luxurious Motor Yacht Rahil, Rotenberg's floating real estate is designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon and has a top speed of 15 knots, cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

He also owns a Bombardier Global 6000 private jet, thought to be worth around $62 million dollars new and coming with a top speed of 950 km/h.

The aircraft features a spacious three-zone cabin, 2 Rolls Royce engines and can cary between eight and nineteen passengers.

12 - Gennady Timchenko

Founder and owner of the private investment group, Volga Group, billionaire businessman Gennady Timchenko was previously a co-owner of Gunvor Group.

A close friend with the Russian President since the early 1990's, he has an estimated net worth of around $10.3 billion dollars and is a major shareholder in the natural gas giant Novatek.

Thought to have obtained massive loans through anonymous offshore shell companies, Timchenko was sanctioned over Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea.

Ranked 205th on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he is currently the 6th richest person in Russia and is reported to own property in Switzerland worth $11 million dollars.

11 - Boris Rotenberg

Co-owner of the SGM group, the largest construction company for gas pipelines and electrical power supply lines in Russia, Forbes listed Boris Rotenberg as Russia's 69th wealthiest person in 2016.

Training alongside Vladimir Putin in Judo between 1968 and 1978, he won several awards for the Soviet Union and later became a professional judo trainer in Helsinki.

He helped found one of the largest banks in Russia, SMP bank, which operates in 40 Russian cities with over 100 branches and manages over 900 ATM machines.

The company became closely aligned with Gazprom and Rotenberg was involved in 20 construction projects for the Sochi Winter Olympics worth 5 billion Euro.

He once owned a a Bombardier Challenger 300 that was siezed by by Credit Suisse and marketed for sale by Boutsen Aviation due to Rotenberg having sanctions placed on him.

He also owns BR Engineering, a racecar constructor but on March3rd 2022, the United States imposed sanctions on Rotenberg, his wife, and sons.

10 - Igor Rotenberg

The oldest son and heir to Arkady Rotenberg's billionaire empire, he is co-owner of the SGM group with his brother Boris Rotenberg.

Recieving his PhD in Law in 2005 in Kaliningrad at the Kaliningrad Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Igor Rotenberg is also the chairman of the board of directors of Mosenergo Heat and Power Company.

He was Head of the Department of Property of the Fuel and Energy Complex in the Ministry of Property of Russia in 2002 and 2003.

Other business assets include 79% of Gazprom Drilling, 28% of the road construction company Mostotrest and once 33.3% of Jersey-based TPS Real Estate Holdings Ltd, later selling his stake for $1 billion.

Igor Rotenberg had an estimated wealth of $1.1 billion by Forbes in 2018 with that figure estimated to be roughly the same.

9 - Alisher Usmanov

Now firmly on the European, European Union and American sanctions lists, Alisher Usmanov is one of the richest people in Russia with a net worth of estimated net worth of $19.5 billion dollars.

Usmanov has not fared well when it comes to the sanctions imposed on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine and his large villa, located on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia has now been siezed by Italian authorities.

Usmanov made much of his wealth after the collapse of the Soviet Union, is co-owner of Russia's second-largest mobile telephone operator, MegaFon and owns Udokan copper which develops one of the largest copper deposits in the world.

He owns the Kommersant publishing house and is reported to own a 30-acre property in Moscow and Beechwood House, a Grade II listed Regency property in London.

Usmanov owns the Grade I listed Tudor mansion Sutton Place set in 300 acres in Surrey, England, which he bought for £10 million in 2004.

Until recently he owned two of the largest luxury yachts in the world, named Al Raya, which he reportedly spend $250 million dollars on and a second yacht, also now thought to have been sievez, named Dilbar, costing $800 million dollars.

8 -Andrei Skoch

Part owner of the steelmaker Lebedinsky Mining, Andrei Skoch is among not only the richest Russians, but was also listed in the worlds billionaires with a net worth of $6.3 billion dollars.

Skoch has been a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation since 1999 and formed the Metalloinvest conglomerate, one of the largest iron ore and hot-briquetted iron producers in the world in 2006.

Known as the richest man in the Duma, his main residence is located somewhere in Russia, however reports suggest he owns property in Sochi, London and on the Cote D’Azur.

His 99 meter yacht, named Madame Gu, includes an elevator, beach club, gym and full air conditioning as well as being able to reach a maximum speed of 24 knots and able accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites.

He owns an Airbus A319 business jet with a list price of $90 million dollars, and reports suggest he also owns owns a private helicopter, which is based on Madame Gu

7 - Alexander Abramov

Former scientist and billionaire industrial magnate, he became one of the two heads of Evraz, Russia's largest steel producer and has a 2022 net worth of $5.8 billion dollars.

Widely considered a friend and business partne of Aleksandr Frolov and Roman Abramovich, Abramov owns or owned Oregon Steel Mills and Claymont Steel.

Sanctioned by America in 2018, the steel magnate built a financial empire that includes Helena Bay Lodge, New Zealands most expensive home, rumored to charge $7000 a night per room and is worth $50 million dollars.

Another owner of a very large luxury yacht, Titan was completed in 2010 and is the work of Reymond Langton Design.

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Titan has a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles, a top speed of 13 knots and can acccomodate 14 guests.

On-board amenities include a movie theatre, beach club, gym, deck jacuzzi, full-WiFi and air conditioning.

Abramov also owns a private jet, but not just any private jet, his Airbus A319 can accomodate 18 guests, has 2 bedrooms, each with a private washroom and has a range of 5,600 nautical miles.

The jet is fully customised with luxurious furniture, carpets throughout and even has its own office and entertainment area with prices before a re-fit coming in at $73 million dollars.

6 - Alexei Miller

Being deputy chairman of the Board of Directors and managment chair for Gazprom, Russia's largest company and the world's biggest public energy supplier, Miller has been one of the heaviest target of recent sanctions.

Miller was born in Leningrad, now Saint Petersburg and graduated with a PhD in economics and served as Director General of the Baltic Pipeline System between 1999 to 2000.

Gazprom is so large, it is frequently called a "state within a state" and is is 38% owned by the Russian Government.

Rumored to own a large palace style home in Berezhki village, it was nicknamed Millerhof by the Russian press, however no ties to Miller have ever been proven with construction of the palace costing $30 million dollars.

5 - Aras Agalarov

Real estate developer and Azerbaijani-Russian billionaire Aras Agalarov was educated at the Azerbaijan Polytechnical Institute and had an estimated net worth of US$1.91 billion in 2017.

He once owned a large mansion in Alpine, New Jersey before sellign the home for $5.8 million dollars in 2017.

With much of his money derived from his real estate ventures, Agalarov owns a Gulfstream jet and completed projects for a Moscow superhighway and two stadiums for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

His company is also responsible for the largest trade center in Russia on the outskirts of Moscow, Crocus Expo and a nearby residential development.

He is reported to live in his own private gated community, The Agalarov Estate, located just 30 miles outside Moscow that features a golf course and houses that cost roughly $50 million each.

Agalarov has often been called the "Donald Trump of Russia" and the development includes a school, three restaurants, a beach club, a luxury hotel, a 5,000-square-foot fitness center, spa, and more.

4 - Vladimir Lisin

Chairman and majority shareholder of the fourth largest steel company in Russia, Vladimir Lisin had an estimated net worth of $26.6 Billion in 2021.

A keen shooting sports enthusiast, he fired his first rifle when he was 12 years old and since then has taken shooting as seriously as his business.

Appointed as a member of the ISSF Executive Committee in 2013, he built one of Europe's largest shooting-range complexes near Moscow.

He is rumored to have purchased the 17th-century Aberuchill Castle and its surrounding estate in Perthshire, Scotland in 2005.

Owner of the 130 foot yacht Socrat, she can accommodate 10 guests, has a maximum speed of 12.5 knots and is more or less permanently based in Moscow.

3 - German Khan

Having both Russian and Israeli citizenship, Khan was appointed the head of the wholesale trade business Alfa Eco as part of the Alfa Group Consortium and later president of Alfa Eco in 1996.

He enjoys hunting and has a collection of sporting guns and rifles while also owning a villa in the Maremma region, a coastal area in Tuscany.

While Khan is one of the lesser known Oligarchs on the list, his net worth is certainly unmistakable in Russian circles, coming in at $22 billion dollars.

2 -Alexey Mordashov

Main shareholder and chairman of Severstal, Russia's largest steel and mining company, Alexey Mordashov owns shares in Rossiya Bank with a personal fortune of $29.1 billion dollars, making him Russia's richest man.

After studying at the Leningrad Engineering-Economical Institute, he purchased shares in a number of companies and was later appointed CEO.

He is reported to own several yachts, which may or may not have now been confiscated unter US, EU and UK sanctions.

His first, Lady M is 213 feet long and registered in the Caymen Islands with with a combined power of 9,222 hp and a maximum speed of 28 knots.

His second and much larger yacht, NORD, features a beauty salon, elevator, swimming pool, movie theatre, spa room, sauna, beach club and two helicopter landing pads.

Nord is thought to have cost Mordashov $500 million dollars and he also owns a Bombardier Global 6000 private jet worth $60 million dollars.

1 - Viktor Rashnikov

Making his money in the iron and steel industry as head of one of the world's leading steel producers, Viktor Rashnikov holds a bachelor's degree in metal forming process and received his doctorate in Technical Sciences in 1998.

With an estimated fortune topping $9.3 billion, he owns a large yacht named Ocean Victory with features that include a helideck with a lifting platform, underwater observation room and six pools.

Able to accomodate 28 guests and a crew of 56, Rashnikov's yacht has a max speed of 19.5 knots and has its own an internal helicopter hangar.

Other assets in his multi-billion dollar net worth include a Gulfstream G650ER private jet and a large house located close to Moscow's billionaire village of Barvikha.

Sold assets include a Bombardier Global 5000 worth close to $70 million dollars in 2018 and at the time of recording, Rashnikov was the 15th richest man in Russia and 195th richest in the world.
