Confidence is a very important state of mind. It’s a necessary perquisite for success in life. There’s a lot you can do as an individual that you may not be appreciated for if you don’t apply confidence in your work.

Confidence is self assurance, it’s a feeling of certainty, it’s trusting in your self. If you trust in your self, you would trust in your abilities. Many people are gifted but lack the needed confidence to show their ability to the world.

Most of the time, we tend to trust in the works of others than in our work and in so doing we let ourselves down before others. No matter how much preparation one may make for a presentation, an examination, an occasion, or whatsoever it may be, when he lacks the ingredient of self-confidence, he may perform as though he made no preparation at all. Every man with a dream, a dream which involves men's assistance in making it happen, must learn to be self confident. If your dream is a big one expect more from critics as it is in the nature of men to criticize, especially when it’s something they don’t understand.

In conclusion, we need confidence to achieve whatever goal we have. As you advance in life, never drop in your confidence level as you will need it to cross from one end of the road to the other side. Your confidence will be your bridge which will enable you cross to the place where your dreams come will true.
