CSGO exploit allows hackers to steal passwords, and Valve isn't doing anything about it....
**Who here plays CSGO ? I do... even tho it's one of the most toxic FPS game of the century. The Secret Club, a non-profit reverse-engineering group, has discovered the exploit more than two years now. They claim to have brought it to Valve’s attention back then. However, it has never been acknowledged, let alone fixed.
Now, they’ve decided to finally open up about it after claiming Valve has prevented them from publicly disclosing it for years. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
He pointed that, the exploit allows hackers to access a user’s data using Steam invites. It’s tied to a remote code execution flaw that affects all source engine games, including CSGO.
“Two years ago, a secret club member reported a remote code execution flaw affecting all source engine games. It can be triggered through a Steam invite. This has yet to be patched, and Valve is preventing us from publicly disclosing it.”
Unfortunately, that’s only the beginning. A hacker can use the remote code execution flaw to practically do anything they want on a user’s system, including accessing data and running programs.
Last but not least, The Secret Club members also revealed the scariest news of all. Hackers can also host community servers, send remote code executions to everyone in the lobby, and run a script to steal their passwords and skins, and even infect their hard drive with malware.
It’s already bad enough that CSGO hacks like, aimbot, wallhack and etc exists. But this exploit that enable these hackers to steal user's password and other confidential data, man, players will have to think twice about playing CSGO if they care about their data.
However, it’s more concerning that Valve has supposedly known about it for a while now and not fixed it, let alone swept it under the rug. They are yet to issue a statement on the matter.
If you are concerned about giving away your precious data booting up CS:GO, you might have stay away from the game for now.
C'mon Valve, get you sh*t together. There are still CS fans out there. Tbh, I have played less CSGO these days due to the hacks, but this.... is not acceptable. Now I know why Steam kept sending me emails that says that someone's trying to access my account in various location with various ip addresses.

How to Remove Google Assistant Recordings
Hey guys, it has been a while since I last wrote. Hope you all are well, and Happy Lunar New Year to those who are celebrating it.
Similar to Siri, Cortana and Alexa, Google Assistant, the Google's own voice "Secretary" has been a "butt-saver" and offered a lot of convenience for most. However, that comes with some privacy sacrifices. Everything you say to Google Assistant is being recorded, but there are some ways to delete these recordings.
Having your voice recorded and stored by Google Assistant sounds scarier than it sounds. For starters, it's important to understand that Google Assistant will only start recording you only when the command or the phrase of "Hey Google or Okay Google" is initiated. These recordings are used to improve Google's voice-matching as well their machine-learning-mechanism.
Google offers several methods in dealing with these recordings, and I'm going to show you how.
****Manually Delete Google Assistant Recordings****
I'm gonna show you guys the "old school" way to delete these recordings after they’ve already been stored.
First, open your web browser and navigate to **myaccount.google.com**. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Google account as your Assistant-powered smart speakers or displays. https://myaccount.google.com/
Next, go to the “***Data & Personalization***” tab.
Look for the “***Activity Controls***” section and click “***Web & App Activity***.”
Then, select “***Manage Activity***.”
Click “***Filter by Date & Product***” and select “***Assistant***” from the menu.
The list will now only show Google Assistant queries. The queries are organized by date, and you can delete all entries from a day by clicking the “**X**” icon.
Entries that have a recording attached are indicated by a microphone icon. Click “***Details***” if you would like to delete a specific entry.
Then select the three-dot menu icon and click “***Delete***.”
Aannnnd, that’s it. You can access this page and delete entries at any time.
Now, let me show you another way that you can deal with these recordings.
****Auto-Delete Google Assistant Recordings****
If deleting your data all the time is too time-consuming, Google makes it possible to auto-delete these recordings after a certain period of time. This allows you to get the best of both worlds. Google Assistant will get better at recognizing your voice, but these voice recording won’t be stored forever.
****Opt-out of Recordings Completely****
For those who wants to go to the extreme end, you can completely opt-out of the recordings altogether.
Open your web browser and navigate to **myaccount.google.com**. Make sure you’re signed in. https://myaccount.google.com/
Next, go to the “***Data & Personalization***” tab.
Look for “***Activity Controls***” section and click “***Web & App Activity***.”
Then, navigate to “***Include Audio Recordings***” and uncheck the box.
A message will open and explain what happens if you stop saving audio recordings. Click “***Stop Saving***” if you’re sure.

Well, an open-source, user-friendly deepfake bot has been found to be victimizing seemingly hundreds of thousands of women by replacing the clothed parts of their bodies, in a photo with nudity. More than 100,000 non-consensual sexual images of 10,000 women and some under-aged girls have been shared online by the bot user between the period of July 2019 and 2020.
Those victims are mostly female private individuals, whose photos were taken off social media or pulled from a personal stash of pics. Some victims had originally been photographed in bathing suits or underwear. Some were wearing simple T-shirts and shorts. Some were visibly underage. All are women. Sick bastards...

With sufficient video and audio of someone, it can combine a fake video of a person with fake audio and get them to say anything you want. At this simpler level it can also be used to remove clothing from a photo of a person fully dressed or make someone appear to be in a place they shouldn't. It is often described as a'photoshop on steroids' by experts.

****What is exactly Among Us ?****
**Among Us**, is a social deduction game where **Crewmates** are required to do certain in-game tasks in order to win the game, while the **Imposters** would prevent the **Crewmates** from completing all their tasks by the means of either killing or sabotaging them in their tasks. What makes the game exciting is, none of the players are aware of who are the **Imposters** or **Crewmates**, which means, the **Crewmates** would need to find out who are the killers before all of them are wiped out. Other than going on a killing streak, **Imposters** have the ability to **Sabotage** other players by turning off the lights, overloading the reactor, or depleting the oxygen which forces the **Crewmates** to separate, making them an easy prey. There are also vents around the space ship or the planet allow the **Imposters** quickly travel between rooms without being spotted. Also, it's best to add that all players are required to remain silent except during the discussion phase.
During discussion, you can discuss among other players on who the suspect/s are, based on any evidence or witnesses brought forth. Then you start to vote the said suspect. Once the voting is done, the player with the most votes of being the **Imposter** would be cast out into space. This process would repeat if the player being booted is not the **Imposter**.
As the **Imposter**, you should sabotage as often as possible in order to split **Crewmates** up so that they can be picked off one by one. Sabotaging the lights can be an intelligent and powerful move for **Imposters** as they reduce the vision of the **Crewmates**, making them easier to kill.
Rigging the Oxygen and Reactor is also usually a excellent idea if you're trying to force players to go from one side of the map to another, making them a sitting duck that has been left behind.
As a **Crewmate**, your best bet of staying alive is to stick with your mates. Even if one of you is an **Imposter**, you can easily report the kill when a fellow **Crewmate** has fallen. (Unless both the mates in your small group are **Imposters**, you'll be in the deepest of sh*t.)
So, how does the game wreck friendships ?
Like every social deduction game, the **Imposters** must gain the trust of the **Crewmate** in order to not get caught. Which means you will have to lie to your friends, in order to make them easier for you to kill later in the game. We're not responsible for any broken friendships caused while playing the game.

Well, if your computer is acting up again, try removing unwanted software or files the conventional way.
For removing unwanted or unused files, you can press **"Window + E"** to bring up **File Explorer**. You can then navigate to the file that you wanna delete. Select them, then press "Del" or "delete".
If you want to remove unwanted software or software that you aren't using anymore, go to Control Panel then navigate to Programs then Uninstall a program. You can then chose what program you wanna uninstall from the list.

If you're a big fan of the **Star Wars** franchise, The Old Republic takes you back to three millennium ago, before the events of the original Star Wars films by George Lucas. In the game, you get to choose from **eight** different classes. Each of these eight classes has a three-act storyline that progresses as your character levels up. Within this eight classes, players can either join the Republic or the Sith which, each players may posses a morality at any point along the light or dark spectrum, in other word, your character may be a Jedi, but due to your actions or decisions, you are more prone to the Dark side
The classes are exclusive to one fraction or the other. However, the classes of one fraction mirror the classes of the other. As an example, Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior, both are lightsaber wielding warrior which is most famous for their tank roles in the game. The classes are;
Let's talk about ships. In this game, each class has their own starship, which serves as the player's base of operations. Bounty Hunters have the D5-Mantis Patrol Craft where Sith Warriors and Inquistors have the Fury. Smugglers have the XS Freighter, Troopers have the BT-7 Thunderclap. Jedi Knights and Consulars have the Defender. All in all, you'll get a free Starship as the story progresses. The best part about this is, certain pieces of these ships can be modified, allowing them to perform better in space combat.
Companions in most MMO RPG games are basically just another NPC that follows you around, shielding you and helping you inflict damage. However, this game features a passive form of crafting, known as Crew Skills, in which a player's companions carry out gathering and crafting tasks asynchronously to the player's adventures out in the world. Each class gets five companions as the story progresses and they are "social-interact-able", meaning, they will either grow fond of you or disapprove your action/s based on certain scenario as you play the story "quest". A little tip, you can gain your companion's affection bar by giving them gifts. Once you have sufficient "affection" you can then romance them 😏
Now, the most interesting part, for me at least. Lightsabers. I love a good lightsaber duel. In this game, you can participate in a PVP battle where there are various objectives to complete. You'll be up against other players from fractions to battle it out to your heart's content.
Like most MMO RPG games, Star Wars: The Old Republic heavily emphasize on their pay-to-win regime. Players can choose to play without any subscription however, there are certain restrictions, such as the limitation of the amount of credits you can carry, the reduced leveling speed and the more prominent one is that you're limited to only certain species or races when you're on the character creation screen. Subscription options are available for players to pay for one month, two month, three month or six month blocks, with discounted rates for multiple month blocks. Payment can be done by credit card or time card.
**Star Wars: The Old Republic** gets a solid **7/10** from me. While I enjoy the story, the variety of classes, lightsabers, starships, and the company of companions, I would like the dev team to change the overall UI of the game. What is World of Warships ?

**Admiral Balans** here. As this is my 1st blog here, I have done a fair bit of browsing through blogs here, particularity on the video games section and find that the said category needs more content or game review or introduction.
So, what is World of Warships ? It's a free to play, strategic MMO game produced and published by Wargaming (WG), a European-based/Russian, (considered to be somewhat underrated) game developer. Released in 2015, believe it or not, it's still in beta after 5 years since the release(current version: 0.9.4). Players can choose to get the game on **Steam** or from their **Official** website. Take note that their game servers are divided into four regions; **NA**,**EU**,**CIS** and **SEA**.

As the advertisement suggests, the game require its players to have a fair bit of tactical naval warfare knowledge on the ship types, ship roles and responsibilities as well as map awareness in order to excel. **TEAMWORK** is the utmost importance of this game, as well as any other online games.
Unlike most shooters and MOBA games like CSGO and Dota, here in WoWs, you will be placed in a team of **7 or more** in a single game mode. There are three different battle modes: ***Standard***, ***Domination*** and ***Epicenter***, where your team wins either by scoring the highest (out of 1000 pts) by **playing the objectives** or by **destroying all enemy ships** before the timer runs out. Players can choose to engage in **PVP** (Random Battles, Ranked and Clan battle) or **Co-op** mode (you and other players vs. bots). However, players also can choose to be in **Scenario Battles**(you, other players and bots vs. bots), where you win by completing all game objectives like escorting friendly convoy ships and repelling enemy attacks on the convoy and many more.
The warships in the game cover periods from as early as the 20th century, at the dawn of dreadnought-heavy-mammoth-like battleships, up to the warships of the 1950's or the 1960's including those that were planned but never really made it into the production as what the WoWs community put it as, "The Paper Ships". Players can choose to master four different types of warships of varying roles: destroyers, cruisers, battleships and aircraft carriers.
****Ship Roles****
**Destroyers aka (DD):** smallest, fastest and most maneuverable ship in the game. Equipped with the lightest amour among all classes, they have the powerful torpedoes in the game. You do not want to get hit by one of these things, I tell ya. They are the front-liners, providing vision for the friendlies and leading the objectives. DD's have the lowest health pool among all classes in the game. Oh ! and most of them are equipped with a "smoke consumable",where upon activation, a thick layer of smoke will cloud them over a duration of time so they can tactically retreat under crossfires OR to ambush the enemy with their powerful torpedoes. **Cruisers aka (CA/CL):** jack of all trades in the game. Their configuration makes them one of the most versatile warship in the battle. They have meh amour among all but these guys love hunting DD's especially when they're hiding in the smoke screen. Some of them have great AA, making CVs think twice before dropping on them. Some CLs can even be BB's worst nightmare by pumping out their firery shells every 3 seconds, making it rain, setting enemy on multiply fires. Imagine this, you have 4 guns, 4 turrets.. that's 16 guns pumping 12 shells every 2 seconds or so. yes Smolenks, I'm looking at you.... **Battleships aka (BB):** the heavy boxer, brawler, can tank anything, damage-taking ship-class in the game. Equipped with the thickest amour, these giants are effective in dealing with annoying CA/CLs roaming around. Being thicc has a disadvantage, you are slow. That's what most BBs are in the game, especially the American ones (T3-T7) and Japanese ones. Ever heard of Yamato or Bismarck ?

**Aircraft Carries aka (CV):** the floating airport, floating colony, the mothership or whatever name you want to call her. She is the most annoying class to play against. That is of course, if she's captained by a veteran player. They are the bastards to hunt DDs who are leading the objectives, CL/CAs who are out and about and BBs despite how great their AAs are. There's always a walk-around to great AA, according to WG. The game features naval power from various countries including the **United States Navy (USN)**, the **Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN)**, the **Royal Navy (RN)**, **German Kriegsmarine (KM)**, the **Italian Regia Marina**, **French Navy**, **Pan-European Navy (Polish & Swedish)**, **Red** ***Yeet*** **(Russian balans Navy)**, **Pan-Asian (SEA,CN,TW) Navy** and many more. Players can progress through the game by researching ships from each tier from tier 1 to tier 10 from the tech tree. Yes, it is a grindy game. Well, it's the best time to play WoWs during the lockdown.
****Pros****
Quite historically accurate warships
Great graphics (Great ship and map modelling by the **WG** team)
Game is always updated with new contents and events (Current event: New Russian Heavy Cruiser/Russian Tech Tree Split)
Very tactical, strategic game that promotes **Teamwork**
**It's FREE**
****Cons****
Prior to my previous point, It's Free, but it's **PAID TO WIN.** You don't get much benefits as paid players do in game.
Lousy match-making at times. Sometimes, lower tier players (T6) can be up-tier-ed to (T9 or T10) in a single battle altho quite raw for such a huge tier gap, but it happened before.
"**CV's** are fine and not over powered" claimed by the **WG** team when they're quite broken.
**Russian Bias**. Because they're headquartered in St. Petersburg and they're Russians. They have to make Russian Ships slightly more OP than the rest. At some instances, when testers claimed that the ship is too OP, they'll just buff it ever so slightly just to nerf it again. Redundant much ??
**Paper ships** gets put into the game. AKA ships that were planned and designed but never made it to production. Due to this, balancing them is quite challenging. At the current update (0.9.4), many **new paper Russian Ships** are coming to the game. Some are quite balanced but many are not. But **WG** said that they're **Balans**. Hence, my name....
Submarines are coming !. When **CVs** are not perfectly balanced, they're putting subs into the game this coming small update (0.9.4.1) in a separate battle mode. Good job **WG** !
Some players can be salty/toxic. Then again, it's an online game....so it's self-explanatory
****Summary****
Despite the Cons that outweighs the Pros, **WoWs** is fairly a great game. I have enjoyed my time here in WoWs. I'd give a 7/10 start rating to this game and would recommend you to try it.
